Cow Finds a Friend follows our bovine heroine into the woods, where she gets lost. Cow encounters Raccoon, Bat, and Bear-oh my!-and is warned of a stinky, mean rodent named Skunk. "Did God make a mistake when he made Skunk?" wonders Cow. That is, until Skunk saves Cow's life, proving that you can't judge others by appearance (or fragrance)-and that God doesn't make mistakes in how we're made.

Cow is in the woods and is warned by many different animals to stay away from Skunk. Cow wonders if God made a mistake when making Skunk, but she soon finds out the answer to her question when she encounters Skunk for the first time.
