very simple and quick read, with the premise that anyone can begin investing regularly with minimal funds and a set and forget approach.
I personally found the book to be a little simplistic and thought it would be a more suitable resource to share with late primary or early high school students as it effectively helps to explain the compounding effect of regular investing. Then again, there is probably a large proportion of adults who have never had access to any basic money management education that could also benefit from reading this book.
The book does a good job of breaking down complex ideas and jargon into a simple explanation of why investing is important and how to get started with minimal effort. Overall it would be useful for those new to investing, who may have held off thinking it was too difficult or expensive but may not offer much depth for experienced investors
Nothing ground breaking, but definitely helpful for someone getting started with investments. Broken down into simple, easy to understand steps. If you are a beginner investor, I'd highly recommend picking this one up!
Good read for someone who is pretty new to the investing world. The authors kept it interesting with many examples. Use of easy language makes me recommend this to high school kids.
This is a great, easy to ingest book on the stock market and investing strategies. It outlines 4 simple steps to investing for the long term and covers key concepts such as dollar-cost averaging, index funds, and how to open an account to start investing, among many other important topics. I would highly recommend this book.
