Should he choose the rich girl or the right girl?

When Mark Crandall first hears Trudy singing, he is immediately captivated with her voice. Then when he meets her, he realizes she is everything he ever wanted in a woman. She is charming, beautiful, loves to sing, and like him, she is a Christian.

He falls in love with her, but in order to pursue a relationship with her, he has to break it off with Abigail, the wealthy daughter of the CEO of the company Mark works for. Not only is Abigail rich, she is not a Christian and does not share his Christian values. He thinks of her as just a friend, but she has been hinting that she wants to become intimately involved.

Mark eventually ends his relationship with Abigail. She does not take it lightly, and what follows is a cycle of revenge as she and her father try to get back at Mark for the way he hurt her. Will Mark and Trudy ever have a life together?

From the first day my elementary school teacher read my essay to the class, I knew I wanted to be a writer. But life got in the way, and that dream was not realized until years later when I returned to school and had my first short story published in P'an Ku, the college magazine.

From there I went on to win honorable mentions in Writer's Digest and other contests and have contributed to A Cup Of Comfort For Mothers and Chicken Soup For The Soul. I have also written hundreds of health and fitness articles for online magazines.

I am the author of Women For All Seasons, a Christian non-fiction book, and the Egypt series, consisting of Coming Out Of Egypt, In the Wilderness and In the Promised Land, in that order.

The Egypt series is written in the women's fiction genre and is greatly influenced by my work as an occupational therapist in behavioral health. There I have the opportunity to witness first hand the effects of sexual abuse, addiction and other societal ills, and try to make a positive difference in my patients' lives.

I believe that as writers we have a responsibility to impact the hearts and minds of our readers, to help transport them far and above the mundane realities of everyday life.

Apart from writing, I enjoy reading books that take me to places I've never visited, cooking healthful meals for my family - I'm a semi-vegetarian - participating in church activities and travel.
