The King’s Dragon

First and foremost, despite the fact that these authors normally write romances, this series is in the high fantasy subgenre, with many many romances by nearly every character.
The first book began rather slowly, and had a rather complicated plot with a morally complicated villain, but by the third book, things got rather straightforward and the bad guy was one-dimensionally mean and power-obsessed.
Nonetheless, I loved the dragons and every POV we followed in the book.
