Kaley Presley was supposed to be the next Jamie Austen.

A CIA extraordinaire. A beloved heroine like Jamie who trained her.

When she's sent to Norway with A-Rad to search for a rich man who is trafficking young women on a submarine, things go horribly wrong. The trafficker is the Crown Prince. The next heir to the throne. The guards they killed were members of the Royal Guard.

They're arrested and must stand trial for murder and abandoned by the ones who sent them there.

Not Toler's best

I've read most if not all of Toler's books. This is by far below the standards of the others. I found it to be extremely boring for the most part. Very slow moving story. Extreme amount of repetition.
I will read the followup book because this book was the first one I found to be subpar. At least I will begin reading it and see how it goes but these new characters are not on the same level as Jamie and Alex.

Well done! I was thrilled to read this spy/mystery book and look forward to reading more by this author who is an expert in writing cliff hangars with clean language, and interesting, day to day activities that are affecting cultures around the world. Yes, where necessary, they do include deaths and sadness, but only in the necessary aspects to clean up evil, and improve the fictional world, which is very similar to the real world we know. I did start to read this book in May, but had to put it aside for family vacation times. I really did read it in 4-5 days. :)

I have added him to my reading list and also given his name to hubby for audio listening.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

This author has done the impossible of writing a wonderful exciting edge of the seat book without using foul language and gratuitous sex. I love the story I did not want it to end and now I want to read more of the books. I very rarely pay for books. I got this one free, but I would be willing to pay a few bucks to read more of Terry Toler’s books. I guarantee you will enjoy it if you like thrilling books without all the bad stuff in it.. I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to read more of them. They are just wonderful.

Excellent!

None of the issues took me by surprise. In fact, it would be naïve to think that things like this don’t happen, when in fact, it probably happens more than we’re comfortable admitting. Definitely thought provoking…very original, and well told! I loved the Jamie Austin / Alex Haley series and I am already looking forward to book 2 of Kaley Presley!

A good story of operatives operating in Norway. They end up turning themselves in and I find it odd they didn’t declare the safe house as a meet up point verses the exposure of an outside meeting place. Anyway they managed to meet and pull off some amazing stuff. 5

Wow!!!

What a twisted turn of events! Awesome storytelling, I couldn't put this book down. Why work for an agency that disavows you at the drop of a hat?

Interesting twist

I love how Kayle and A-Rod are devoted to wiping out sex trafficking. In their determination they cross some lines but you can’t help rooting for them.

This was my first Terry Toler book but it most definitely won’t be the last!! I’m ready to start at the beginning and read them all.
