This is a great YA Paranormal book, the second in the series of Evie.
Evie is a young girl with developing psychic abilities that cannot be ignored.
This second book in the series follows on from The Red Cardigan and finds Evie discovering more about the extent of her psychic abilities when she starts receiving messages during an innocent seance with her girlfriends. After her last encounter with the paranormal, Evie is reluctant to participate in a seance with her friends, fearing it may go awry. Her friends talk her into it anyway and she figures it will just be a few laughs.
Buckle up for some paranormal activity and some pretty good detective work, whilst Evie and her friends try to unravel some very coded messages from the other side.
I really enjoyed this second book in the Evie series as I did with the first also. They are very well plotted and keep up a good pace throughout.
A sequel to 'The Red Cardigan'. Evie has a gift, or as her parents put it, she's 'special'. Once again she's been contacted by a spirit. The girl's name was Caz. Caz's still has connection with her sister who still alive, Paris.
Caz's mother, Nora, always come to Victoria (kind of a guardian for Evie) to help her contacts Caz. Nora came twice a year to 'communicate' with Caz. And it's been going on for a few years, until one day Caz won't 'speak' to her mom anymore.
Instead, Caz contacted Evie, and ask her to help Paris. Once again, Evie must go through the whole episode in helping a spirit, while her own bestfriend falling in love, becoming irrational, and their friendship is put to the test.
The sequel to 'The Red Cardigan'. i wish she would bring out a third book!! ii Loved both 'The Red Cardigan' and 'Nine Letters Long' i have read both more than once and enjoy it just as much as the first time i read it. It is a quick read which i struggled to put down! i plan to read both 'The Red Cardigan' and 'Nine Letters Long' again and again in the future!
'Nine letters long' is a sequel to 'The red cardigan' and concentrated more on on Evie's relationship with her peer group rather than her mother. It was again a mystery and moved along at a pace that kept the reader wanting more.
This sequel of "The Red Cardigan" was even better, the pages seemed to flip before me as I got lost in the world of spirits and the power of friendship.
