A bittersweet story of love and loss. My goodness was it a sad read but also a touching and endearing one too. Almost like the movie Groundhog day Imara and Ben are forced to relive their love story and its tragic ending over & over again. So its basically doomed from the very beginning but you find that you really want them to get a happy ending. I certainly did. Cursed is a great read with a heartbreaking romantic love story and likable characters. So good

Caught in a Loop . . .

Ben and Imara are drawn to each other like a moth to a flame. The Fates have made it that way, and no one can stop that. But if they do not find the evil warlock Selvin Marcos, the curse on them will keep happening to them both for all eternity – unless it can be stopped. Imara and Ben are forced to relive their love story and its tragic ending over and over again. They are part of a prophecy and Imara is in danger. Shaw had told him whatever is coming for Imara isn’t Fate, it’s an evil curse the devil put on “that sweet angel”. And although Ben can’t change Fate, Shaw was sure he could break a curse. Can Ben figure it out and stop it?

Imara and Ben are likable characters. This is an interesting story line that makes the reader want to see the characters get out of this loop. Is there truly no hope?

This was a great read with amazing characters filled with mystery, twist and chemistry. This is a great world builder with different element of a broken shifter (this one is a wolf.)

The second book in the Immortals series brings another fantastic page turner. The author does a terrific job pulling you in and kept me glued to the pages right to the end. I loved the story line as well as the characters and would recommend this book.

In the second installment of Jessica's Broken Immortals series, we follow Imara and her brother who are on the run from evil wizards that want to kill them. Imara was subjected to a curse by them that states that she won't see her 26th birthday. While they're on the run, they meet Ben and his family. Imara and Ben immediately fall in love and realize that they are mates. It is also revealed that Ben and his family are Lycans. Ben is a half-blood which means he's only half-Lycan. Ben and Imara get married, but once they are married, Ben is plagued by nightmares where Imara is pregnant and murdered by an evil force. When Imara falls pregnant, Ben, Imara's family, and Ben's family do everything they can in their power to keep Imara and her baby safe. Imara and Ben become parents to Eliza Mae and they're still on guard since the curse still could come to pass at any moment. Will this curse separate Ben and Imara, or will they defy the odds and remain together? This is a story of two fated lovers having to relive their lives over and over again. I can tell you that it is emotional, and you hope and pray that Ben and Imara remain together and find their way back to each other. It's an ending where it can either be a happy ending or a sad ending, it just depends on your interpretation. I personally chose for it to be a happy ending because I loved Ben and Imara's relationship so much I couldn't bear to think that they could lose it again! I loved this book and I'm excited to see what happens next in the series! ❤

At first I thought this was a stand-alone with similar lines but as the tragic story unfolded it’s ties to book one in the series became clear. Ben and Imara are doomed from the moment they’re born to repeat the worst event possible for eternity. Their love for each other so strong that they find their way to each other regardless of the horrors that await. But fate steps in by way of Daniel so they can finally find their HEA and be part of the battle still to come.

This is melancholy story filled with moments of bittersweet heartbreak and romance. A story of two characters doomed to relive lives over and over. You feel and hate and long and hope for these characters. It's up to you whether it's a good or sad ending.

With crossover characters in this book, it could be read as a standalone, though it would be better understood if read after 'The Darke King'. I hope for better editing, but it may have been just the ARC

Another good story for this series. I was a little confused at first as I was getting Daniel and Rosemary confused with Ben and Imara – I thought they were supposed to be the same people, just different names, but realized that they were 2 different couples, but linked to each other. I am looking forward to the next book in this series to see where this is going. I am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed Ben and Imara's story, though I often got confused about what was happening to whom, when. I just soldier on until I figure it out. This is a déjà vu story where the couple meets, falls in love, bad things happen, rinse, repeat. Haldir makes an appearance, as does Daniel. HEA. Clues as to who the next couple might be.

Ben, a wolf shifter, and Imara, a light witch, are soulmates caught in an endless loop of love and misery. Each time they find each other and start their family, they are forced to their end just to start all over again.

It was a wonderful read incorporating the first book into the second building up to something more. I positively cannot wait to see how the author does puts the third one into the mix of this fantasy world.

The story was so heartbreaking until the end. Soulmates through time would be wonderful. To find someone that was truly meant for you and only you. Looking forward to book 3. This story was smoothly written and it's connection to book 1 was great.
