I'm rounding up to three stars. My opinion of this book is roughly the same as the previous. The story is a little tighter since there isn't as much time developing the protagonists background, but otherwise it's roughly the same. The killer was a lot more obvious in this one than the last one, but I thought that it worked well as a more general story of AJ developing her practice rather than just as a mystery. I will say that incongruities and a few factual issues (especially, for some odd reason, issues regarding nonprofit taxation and blood donation) bugged me a little more here than in the previous one, but not really that terribly. So, again, decent story, decent characters, but not the best story-telling style for me and it could have used a little more time spent polishing it up.
