Working with her is a challenge.
Once things start brewing… it’s all going to come to a head

Laurel Stewart needs to know her brewery can be successful without the “help” of her seven older brothers. That means making a Be Brave List and proving she can handle a little risk. And one of those risks involves kissing her long-time crush — her oldest brother’s best friend, Hunter.

Stunt performer Hunter Davis is in town to sell his family’s orchard and make one last attempt to please his mother. When he promises to watch out for his best friend’s little sister, the last thing Hunter expects is to end up in business - and in bed - with Laurel.

And the more time Hunter spends in Fable Notch, the more he feels like it’s home — and the less he wants to return to Hollywood. I received an ARC copy of this book via the author, and I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This is the 5th book in The Fable Notch series, and hopefully she is the first of the Stewart clan to fall in love!
I loved Laurel and Hunter's story, falling for her oldest brothers best friend, Laurel has had a secret crush on Hunter since she was 15, but the path of true love is never easy!
Wonderful storyline, superb characters and absolutely loved the HEA.

Laurel Stewart's seven brothers give new meaning to being overprotective brothers. They mean well. Their family is exceptionally close. However, she decides she has to know if she can continue to make her brewery successful without her brothers' help. So, she basically tells them she needs them to back away and let her run her business without their helpful interventions. They agree, but Gabriel asks his friend, Hunter Davis, to check in on her at the brewery. Unbeknownst to Gabriel, his friend made a promise to his little sister many years ago which has to do with a kiss. Checking in may be a little dangerous for the heart.

Hunter Davis is a stuntman who is only in town for a short while to sell his family's orchard. When he sees Laurel he is expecting to see his best friend's little sister that he saw many years ago. Instead, in her place there is a beautiful young woman. He also finds a young woman with a sharp business mind who can help him, but in order to work with her, they feel they have to fight their attraction to one another. They need each other professionally as well.

This romance will curl your toes. The Stewart family is lovable. I love their camaraderie with one another and even though the brothers have stuck their nose in their sister's business, it comes from a place of love. Some people only dream of a family like this. On the other hand you have a very unlikeable character - Hunter Davis' mother. I really, really did not like this lady. She was a snobby, self-entitled woman with a chip on her shoulder. I also love this community, Fable Notch. Fable Notch is all about community and helping one another out. It is an enjoyable read with characters that are fun loving and kind.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Fable Notch and the Stewart family come off the page to give you a warm hug in this steamy small town romance. Laurel the youngest of 8 and the only sister is overburdened by protective brothers. She loves her brothers, enough she named her brewery and bar Seven Brothers, but sometimes she wishes they didn't hover. She wants to prove herself without feeling everything she is and does is only because of her family. When hunky, Hollywood stuntman, Hunter Davis returns to Fable Notch, Laurel wonders if she might finally live out her girlhood crush on her oldest brother's best friend.
Hunter is surprised by his attraction for the girl he once thought of as almost a little sister. Thankfully, she is NOT his sister because he is at the mercy of a strong, determined woman. Their fling heats up and what starts out as just a little fun becomes something much more serious, but Hunter's job is in California, he'll be leaving and Laurel is attached to Fable Notch with her family and business there, watching them dance around their feelings, deal with their issues and search for a way to make things work is what makes this story such a pleasure to read. Steamy, fun, and full of interesting characters, Fable Notch is a place I'd love to visit.

This was a little too cozy and sweet for my taste but I think there's a lot of appeal to those who are Robyn Carr fans as this has some similarities to the Virgin River series with a brewery and orchard in place of a Nurse Practitioner and local tavern. There are a lot of characters to keep track of and maybe that wouldn't be an issue had I started the series from the beginning but that's a habit that shows no signs of change. Along with it being too cozy and sweet, it also felt too Type A with the details. Fans or small town romance that don't want a lot of steam are going to like this more than I did.

Set in warm and welcoming Fable Notch, this story brings us the kind of emotional and steamy love story romance readers love. Laurel wants to stand on her own. Hunter's been on his own too much. You watch them fall for each other and cheer them on. Their path toward happiness isn't smooth, but what they have together is worth fighting for. Kudos to the author. Another beautiful story in a wonderfully crafted series.

I really enjoyed this book. I am going to have to read the rest of the series to catch up on all the characters. Hunter is one of Laurel's brother's best friends and she has had a crush on him since high school. He moves away, but comes back to get his family's orchard ready to sell. During this time, Laurel and Hunter grow close. Small town, brothers best friend romance. Would recommend.

Laural owns a brewery and wants to make it a success without the help of her well-meaning 7 brothers. Hunter is in town to sell his families orchard. He is a stuntman. One of Laural's brothers asks Hunter to keep an eye on Laural. When they meet sparks fly. She was a little girl last time Hunter saw her and now she is all grown up. Can they overcome the obstacles and make it work. Great story.

Laurel Stewart knows what she wants, and how to get it. Hunter is back in town dealing with the family business, which his mom wants no part of. When Laurel comes to him with a request, he is more than happy to help her out. This sweet and spicy, small-town romance is a must read! I didn't want it to end.
