Kazuki started writing novels when she was in her second year of junior high school. After taking an entrance exam, she entered into a national university before graduating and becoming busy with work, stopping her from writing. Once she was married and her child entered kindergarten, Kazuki had more free time, which she used to start writing again. From 2013 onwards, she started publishing her novel Ascendance of a Bookworm on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō which saw success. In 2015, she officially debuted with said series under the T.O. Books imprint.

Been reading this on J-Novel Club as it is getting translated.
I think the fanbook series is an absolute essential for any diehard Bookworm fans!
These are always full of amazing behind the scenes information on the Ascendance of a Bookworm series. I really love seeing the concept art for different characters, and the freaking adorable chibis!
Kazuki's description of the drama cd recording is a tradition and always cracks me up. I feel she's a lot like Rozemyne in real life. It makes me really really really want a copy of the drama cds with subtitles!!! PLEASE bring them to the US audience!! We're begging!
The best part is the expansion on lore from the side story and Q&A. People ask so many detailed questions, I think it must be pretty stressful for Miya every time. Yet she always answers them and give us more information. The answers really help detail how the magic works or give insights into side characters perspectives on what is going on in the main story.
Very fun read if you like behind the scenes stuff and seeing a side to the author outside of the story narrative.

Review of advance copy received from Publishers Weekly
Exactly like previous fanbooks: a short story at the start followed by a couple of Q&As, various art pieces, 3-panel manga and discussing some of the audio CDs. So, a fun read for fans with an interest of the world and art, which I am, but not nearly as much for others. Still, that is to be expected for a fanbook.
