It seems the myth of "Pandora's Box" was true. Once you open it, it brings disasters. I thought what was between him and me was different.

A fost destul pentru mine ca să pot spune că nu o recomand. Am primit acest volum de la scriitoare, în scop de citire & recenzie, dar tot dânsa mi-a spus să nu mai citesc cartea și să renunțăm la colaborare văzând că nu am de gând să-i dau o recenzie pozitivă.
Refuz să nu-mi expun părerea sinceră din cauza unor scriitori care nu pot accepta o recenzie negativă. 🙌🏻

“Cutia Pandorei” m-a invitat în lumea lui Jaden și a Pandorei, doi adolescenți care nu se agreează unul pe celălalt, Jaden o urăște, iar Pandora se teme de el. Însă de la ură la iubire este doar un singur pas, iar personajele riscă…sau poate nu, să-l facă…

Nu cunosc multe despre conceptul de “bully romance” sau “dark romance”, dar cel de “bully” îmi este extrem de familiar , atât din viața reală, cât și din cea ficțională, și nu pot spune că îl agreez foarte mult, mai ales când este dus la extrem, când depășește anumite limite. Atunci e clar cazul să mă opresc din a citi și a cumpăni dacă e ok sau nu, pentru mine, să continui.

Acest bully extrem a fost și motivul pentru care am decis să termin “Cutia Pandorei”, după ce am parcurs jumătate din ea. Teama permanantă de abuz a Pandorei, cu care n-am fost deloc de acord de la bun început, mi-a transmis că s-a transformat în traumă și deja era un 🚩pentru mine, făcându-mă să mă simt incomfortabilă.

Nici cu personajele nu m-am înțeles, Pandora mi se părea prea naivă și permisivă în unele chestiuni, adică știi că nu-s ok cele petrecute, dar continui de teamă, și începuse să mă irite acest comportament. Jaden era un nesimțit peste măsură, iar aici sunt finuță când zic “nesimțit”, trecutul său nu-i justifică absolut deloc comportamentul, de aici și incapacitatea mea de a digera povestea dintre cei doi… Să nu mai menționez de Travis, fratele Pandorei, care numai frate nu se poate numi…

Mi-am dorit să-mi placă povestea, să rezonez cu ea, după câte păreri pozitive am văzut despre ea, însă nu a fost pentru mine, din păcate. Știu că sunt alți cititori care o vor aprecia, dar eu, cu părere de rău, nu mă încadrez în acea categorie 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Pe această cale, mulțumesc autoarei pentru exemplarul trimis.

Încep prin a spune că aceasta nu a fost o lectură pentru mine, chiar dacă la început abia așteptam să o citesc fiind încadrată îa genul dark romance. Am rămas cu un gust amar după ce am finalizat-o, gândindu-mă la toate persoanele cu o vârstă mai mică care o vor citi și vor aprecia protagonista pentru ”puterea” de care dă dovadă, cand de fapt este vorba despre naivitate.

Ce mi-a plăcut:
- se citește repede.

Ce nu mi-a plăcut:
- au fost destul de multe greșeli de scriere;
- nu am primit background pentru a justifica acțiunile personajelor;
- Pandora este mult prea naivă, iar Jaden nu întrunește cu adevărat prototipul care ar fi vrut să fie atins, ci mai degrabă un copil plin de ură;
- nu m-am putut conecta cu niciunul dintre personaje;
- axa spațio-temporală a fost în ceață pentru multe secvențe.

Dacă aveți de gând să o citiți aveți grijă la cum interpretați conținutul, luați-l ca un ANTIEXEMPLU.

am devorato.. îmi este pursimplu milă de Pandora că a fost folosită de Jaden și că a rămas gravidă... Cartea asta a fost ce-a mai buna carte citita de mine anul ăsta. Am adorat totul,pe Jaden, chiar dacă spre sfârșit a fost un nesimțit și nu i a dat nici o explicație Pandorei, a durut puțin. Pandora a fost o fata puternica, și mi-a plăcut și de ea, nu mi-a plăcut că a căzut în plasa lui Jaden.. dar oricum, mi-a plăcut totul la carte și cum au fost descrise personajele și Jaden cu trecutul lui oribil... Totul a fost superb la cartea asta. Am iubit o și nu am putut sa o las din mână 🥹

hmm, where do I start?
I loved this book from beginning to end. This book kept me in suspense until the end, it kept me captive in the world of Pandora and Jaden. I liked the game between the two, even if Pandora enters his game much too easily, this proving that he had a great power over her.
I didn't expect such an ending (I don't give spoilers), but I can't wait for the second part of the book to appear to discover what will happen to the two, and what solution they will reach for the "problem" created.

Although dark romance is not my favorite genre, I really enjoyed this book. In addition to the fact that it grabbed me and I could not leave it unfinished, I noticed that there is something realistic in this book, a subject that not many people approach and do not understand. I can say that it also contains a comic thread that made me smile. Regarding the protagonists, I liked the evolution between the two and especially that they were able to make some "sacrifices", but we'll see what awaits us in the next volume. I can't wait for volume 2. I recommend it to everyone who reads such books.

I thought it would be a book similar to the ones I’ve read before, but I was wrong! Their feelings and actions are well defined by the author. After each action, I wanted even more to see what will happen between the two, so I finished it in one day:) I'm looking forward to volume II, I'm sure it will be as good as the first. I highly recommend it!

Pandora's Box... for me a book that got me through certain states and that I embraced with great love. Even with a dark past full of trauma I love Jayden because he managed to stay on his feet. Pandora -o I love it because she saw beyond his walls after learning his story. They fell in love even though their story is not easy. I'm looking forward to volume 2!😉

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. That had no affect on how good this book was. The storyline between pandora and Jaden is magnificent. The book drew me in and I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. Now I’m stuck having to wait for more 😂.

I am obsessed with this book. I LITERALLY COULDN'T STOP READING UNTILL I FINISHED IT🤌 In the beginning I felt like this book is different than what I usually read. But lemme tell you it was a good different💚 initially I hated jaden to be very honest but later on I started to understand why he is the why he is. One moment felt sad for him because he went through so much🙃 and in the next moment I wanted to kill the guy for tormenting Pandora. Pandora is such a sweet character but I was so pissed at Pandora for feeling guilty for Jaden's accident but as you are reading you understand where all that is coming from.
Let's talk about the couple 😜 these two literally kept me on my toes like what the heck one second they are having a sweet moment and the next Jaden disappears😭😭 Jaden being jealous of himself made me laught so hard😂😂 when he said "I wanted to beat up the guy she was chatting with, even if it was me. I was jealous of myself" I was like dayum dude top tier energy 😂😭 but the best scenes were the hospital ones when Pandora reads to him and he falls asleep 💚💚 ..... "Her voice is like a lullaby. I should have stayed awake, to listen to the story. But Pandora manages to put me to sleep." Omggggg that was so cute and Jaden being sad whenever Pandora left and convincing himself otherwise was so cute... if you guys want to read a bit of dark romance, enemies to lover trope you should definitely read this But the main thing is the ending..... The ending completely shocked me like what the heck I was soooo shocked to find out about everything that unfolded in the ending. I cannot wait for the next book😩💚 this book is so well written and thought out🤌 kudos to the author I can't wait to see what she has next in store for us. This book is totally worth it💚

Aceasta carte este perfecta. Mi-a placut enorm! Acțiunea este impecabila, mi-a placut mult dinamica personajelor.

Este o carte extrem de buna și se vede ca este muncita din plin. Iar Jaden, arghh, este un specimen aparte, pot spune ca m-a îndrăgostit de el.

O carte super buna pe care o citești pe nerăsuflate. E imposibil sa ți dai seama ce urmează sau cum se va termina. Are momente care îți ridica parul de pe corp și te face sa te intrebi “ce se intampla cu nebunul asta”, dar si momente pline de iubire. Una calda una rece cum s ar spune. Recomand sa o citiți pentru ca nu veți regreta. E o carte mai întunecată dar te obișnuiești și incepe sa ți placa de nu o mai lasi din mana.

Nu am putut să îi dau mai mult. Pe lângă faptul că personajele sunt șterse, lipsite de originalitate, imature, acțiunea e la fel de prost scrisă; în unele momente lungită, în altele foarte grăbită. Povestea nu are o fundație stabilă care să explice acțiunile personajelor, motivul comportamentelor lor și așa mai departe.
E un dark romance destul de tipic: el se vrea a fi un tip rău cu traume și bolnav psihic, iar ea fetița inocentă care îl poate schimba. Tot ceea ce au fost de fapt este: un tip imatur care se crede mult prea important și deștept și o tipă care se crede matură, dar e doar o copilă fără minte.
Finalul a fost ca picat din cer. Totul s-a încheiat brusc, cu un deznodământ ce se vrea a fi palpitant, dar e doar un eveniment plasat fără sens, cu motivul că probabil va ține cititorul în suspans.
Stilul de scriere e ok, însă nu am putut să trec peste expresiile prost scrise, fără sens și deloc ok introduse pe ici pe colo.
În concluzie, pentru mine, această carte nu a funcționat, nu am găsit ceva care să îmi placă, deși, din ce înțeleg e destinată adolescenților, categorie la care mă încadrez.

when I started to read the prologue of this book and especially when Jaden made his entrance, I knew this one is a good read😌. I love them both and I think that, maybe Jaden adored/loved..anyway.. he had some good feelings for her from the beginning, but he chose to not let those feelings embrace him and ignore her at some point cuz he wasn’t used to them because of his past. And to be honest..who doesn’t want a guy like him🤭with that mysterious air, bad boy things and. especially to be in Pandora’s boots to try to resolve all he’s traumas and give him what he lacked when he was little: LOVE.
Anyway I’m in love with this enemies to lovers story and thanks to her, the author, I lived their interactions like on my own skin😅and what to tell about the ending…it killed me..I think..in a good way cuz now can’t wait to see what’s next💕

First of all, I want to thank the author for the chance to read this book in advance. The book is to be published by the Creator publishing house

Jaden is the more Grumpy type, going into the psycho zone. Pandora is the sunshine type.
Jaden has a dark childhood behind him. Pandora is that pampered child who lacked for nothing.

I admit, I didn't have very high expectations from the book, but after reading the synopsis I expected to like it. It far exceeded my expectations! I don't really read dark romances, so I didn't expect it to be necessarily 5 ✨.

At first, I didn't like Jaden at all. But along the way, that sunshine side also appears, becoming a boyfriend book to put on the list 🤭.
Pandora seemed a little immature in certain situations, so to speak, in the sense that she made a choice that she didn't think deeply about. But I liked her too. We also have a bit of bully, that is, they teased each other throughout the book (as in any enemies to lovers book, by the way).

The book took me through different states throughout it and not a few times made me smile for various reasons, such as certain moments and events between them, but also states of shock. Especially the ending, that plot twist.....I didn't expect it in a thousand years!

I recommend the book and I can't wait for it to appear in physical print at the publishing house and for the sequel to be written! 🤭

Ohh my goodness!!
I really enjoyed this book with all the twist and turns! It’s definitely not what I normally read but gosh was it good.

I didn’t know what to ever expect from Jaden since he’s a “bad boy”. Once his past is explained make you understand why he is that way. Pandora who is named after a myth is used to being unseen by everyone eventually blooms.

Their chemistry and enemies to lovers stage is AMAZING ! You don’t know what to expect or how everything this they do affect each other.

This was an absolute amazing read and I recommend you to read it.

Nu știam la ce să mă aștept de la această carte, dar am fost intrigată atât de titlul ei, cât și de frumos arată.🖤🐍

Pandora este o fată tânără, frumoasă și inocentă. Jaden este cel mai bun prieten al fratelui ei, dar și sursa coșmarurilor sale. Pentru Jaden, Pandora este “Fructul interzis”. Ea știe că ar trebuie să păstreze distanța de el. Dar adevărul este că pe cât de mult o înspăimântă, pe atât de mult o și atrage.

Cartea s-a citit foarte repede și chiar dacă am fost des revoltată de acțiunile lui Jaden, tot m-a prins povestea. Faptul că avem atât perspectiva Pandorei, cât si pe cea lui Jaden ajută să îl descoperim mai mult.

Știu că trecutul crunt al lui Jaden și-a pus amprenta și asupra prezentului. Din păcate, unii oameni devin monștrii de care se tem.

Pandora a fost inocentă și credulă, mi s-a părut că l-a iertat prea repede pe Jaden. Mi s-a părut trist și faptul că deși își punea anumite întrebări și a avut unele dubii, tot a picat în capcana lui. A fost victima unei obsesii, pentru că nu aș numi dragoste ceea ce s-a întâmplat între ei.

Povestea m-a captivat, dar nu pot să fiu niciodată de acord cu protagonistele care iartă atât de ușor și sar imediat într-o relație cu așa ziși iubiți “agresori”.

Cartea “Cutia Pandorei” este unul dintre cele mai relaxante și bune romane romance citite de mine vreodată! Cine știe, știe că genul romance nu e preferatul meu, ba chiar pot spune că e printre cele mai nepreferate, dar cartea asta chiar a fost una foarte OK și chiar m-am simțit bine citind-o!😵
O urmărim pe Pandora, o adolescentă de șaisprezece ani, care îl URĂȘTE pe cel mai bun prieten al fratelui său, Jaden. ;)
Jaden, un tânăr de optisprezecelea ani, rămâne cu inima întunecată din cauza abuzului fizic și psihic, din copilărie, a tatălui său. Știe că e o cauză pierdută și că orice atinge se va frânge în bucăți, iar ceea ce face pentru a se apăra e să devină ceea ce a fost tatăl său.
De când s-a mutat la mama sa (după moartea tatălui său) a creat o obsesie din a vrea s-o distrugă pe sora răzgâiat a prietenului său. Problema e că se întâmplă altceva, iar el știe că va urma s-o distrugă…💚
Tipica poveste cu fata cuminte și băiatul rău cu un trecut întunecat, dar pe mine chiar m-a relaxat:)
Au existat și momente care m-au plictisit și care mi s-au părut trase de păr. De exemplu momentele în care el era portretizat mult prea demonic\malefic, sau provocările acelea jenante și prea intrate în rutină pe care i le tot dădea. Dar pentru persoanele care chiar adoră genul, va fi o descoperire extrem de plăcută!
Mi-a plăcut foarte mult faptul că autoarea chiar a știut să scrie scenele de smut și că nu au fost porecle absurde, cum adesea regăsim prin alte cărți romance populare. Finalul chiar mi-a stârnit curiozitatea, așa că probabil voi citii și următorul volum.
Dacă vreți ceva care să fie relaxant și presărat cu romantism, chiar recomand!👍

In Pandora's Box, we find the male character Jaden with a very sad past, and he becomes the way he is now due to an unhealed trauma.

Jaden is so deeply buried in his demons that when he starts to like the younger sister of his best friend, who is also his neighbor, he has no idea what's happening to him.

Until the very end, I had the impression that even if he likes Pandora, he is still afraid of his feelings.

Pandora first meets Jaden when she is only 12 years old, and since then she thought he was the most handsome boy, with his blonde hair and green eyes.

In the following years, Jaden treats her like a younger sister and terrorizes her with many bad jokes; he likes it when she's afraid of him. But one evening he sees her with different eyes and decides he wants her only for himself.

The story that unfolds between them is beautiful and just as a first love should be. I really liked Jaden during his relationship with Pandora.

The book has many aspects that need to be treated seriously, such as domestic violence and bullying. I would have liked to see his mother, Edna, show more concern for him and offer specialized help.

I experienced an ending that left me in shock; I kept turning the page, and it wouldn't move.

I devoured the book; it's worth reading for those who like such books. From me, it gets 5⭐️/5. Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read the book.

this is my first review
if you want to read a book with enemies to lovers, dark romance and my brother's best friend, this is the perfect book. in the book we get to read from both perspectives (I love when I find this in books). I love the little playlist too.
I understood Jaden, when he falls in love with Pandora he's afraid to admit it because it's a new feeling for him and he's afraid of being hurt and tries to lie to himself that he is not in love with her.
About Pandora I can say that I found myself a little bit in her, she's a girl with a good heart, who doesn't want to hurt anyone, and who doesn't like to be in the spotlight.
I love how the relationship between them develops.
this book made me laugh, cry and smile.
and if you are in a reading slump like I was, this book can help you get out.

First off I would like to say that this book was very interesting and entertaining but it also has dark moments so be aware of that!
I loved the music,book and TV references,the plot and the romance in the book.The end had me staring in space for minutes wishing there was more since it was such a shocking ending!
I would also like to say that the author is very nice and sweet <3.
I was blessed to read this arc and I am excited for the book to come out!
I highly recommend this book and I hope everyone who reads it will enjoy it!

Pandora este o adolescentă drăguță, cu o viață relativ normală dar cu anxietate socială, în permanență încercând să treacă nevăzută și neremarcată, atât acasă cât și la școală. Jaden este prietenul cel mai bun al fratelui Pandorei și total opusul ei, fiind în permanență în centrul atenției, cu un comportament agresiv și sadic. Iar acum și-a pus în gând să o tortureze pe Pandora. Doar că planurile nu prea îi ies cum se aștepta.

Mereu spun că genul romance nu mă atrage în mod deosebit, dar în fiecare an dau de câte o carte de genul, care devine ”my guilty pleasure” 😊Așa s-a întâmplat și cu acestă carte, care m-a prins de la primul capitol. În primul rând mi-a plăcut Pandora, în care m-am regăsit pe mine la vârsta adolescenței, perspectiva ei fiind atât de bine scrisă că am înțeles-o perfect (cu toate emoțiile și nesiguranța specifică vârstei). Apoi, a fost Jaden bineînțeles, tulburător și meschin pănâ în măduva oaselor, genul de personaj care te enervează la culme, dar totuși îl iubești. Iar ciocnirile dintre cei doi sunt explozive și șocante în același timp.

Un alt aspect care mi-a plăcut a fost estica romanului, care se regăsește de-a lungul întregii cărți. Mă refer la referințele la culoarea verde și la simbolismul șarpelui, în ceea ce îl privește pe Jaden, de la înfățișare, ochi, mâini reci, la trăsăturile de personalitate și comportamentul reptilian.

Am citit-o pe nerăsuflate în mai puțin de o zi, iar finalul m-a terminat. Am nevoie de volumul 2 acum, pentru că trebuie să știu cum vor evolua cele 2 personaje de care mă simt deja atașată.

Felicitări editurii creator pentru cartea absolut minunată, de o calitate pe care am întâlnit-o doar la cărțile în engleză, de la detaliile grafice până la calitatea superioară a hărtiei.
