Great Big YES! : Stories of God's Grace
YOU ARE INVITED.
Every single day of your life you are invited to say YES! to God's grace. You have the opportunity to live a life of great joy and abundant blessings right now, today, where you are. You have everything you need. You are ready.
Many of us wish for a different story. We look around and think someone else has it better or we focus on what we don't have. We get stuck in fear. We lack energy to pursue our passions. We may even forget what brings us joy.
What if you could see your story with a fresh perspective? What if you could see all of your experiences through the lens of faith? Are you ready for more gratitude, more hope, more joy?
With this book I share stories of God's grace in my life. My hope is that you laugh and relate and find inspiration to write your own stories. I provide journal prompts to get you started and to help you recognize the divine threads and holy moments in your life. My hope is that writing will lead you to a deeper appreciation of your past and a fresh enthusiasm for the future!

I loved this book! Matter of fact, this is the kind of book I would go back and reference! When I finished I wanted to call friends and talk about it. This is such a great book to share and discuss. There are so many experiences written that we all can relate to in some way. Reading them you may learn it’s ok to give yourself grace and others you want to share the teachable moments to friends.
You get a reminder that life isn’t perfect but there are perfect moments. The author shares how to look for the good or make the best in everything. That may not be intentional on her part but that’s what having a good and positive attitude gets you! She shows she is human. I love that you don’t have to have the answers but having faith sure does help. Sue has so much knowledge about giving and getting grace but also shows that she is a normal, non-judge mental kind of friend we all want to have.
I would recommend this book to anyone who just wants to learn, forgive, laugh, and become a better human being!

I loved this little book. It was a quick read for me just a couple of hours. As for the journaling prompts obviously that part will take much longer I wanted to read through the book then read it again to do the journaling. At least I think I will start…I am not good at journaling because my thoughts and emotions are so much faster than my hand. I tire quickly And then give up. But after reading this book I’m willing to try it again.
Many of the chapters or sections spoke directly to me and I love that about how the author writes. I completely agree with her descriptions about everyday life about how much emphasis we place on things that mean so very little. I recommend this book to everyone I’m going to ask my 19 year old daughter to read it too because so many of the things Sue says to her kids are things that I’d like to say to mine and this is good way to start.
