EN For many readers, the drama here may come across as a bit “dark”, but for me it works almost like therapy. *laughs*

Seeing certain experiences and events from a third-person perspective allows us to learn a great deal. Even now, after so many years of reading, I am still surprised by how much literature can teach us, even when the works are entirely fictional.

I highly recommend it, especially to anyone who enjoys "Goodnight Punpun".

Recomendo vivamente, sobretudo a quem aprecia “Boa Noite, Punpun”.

This volume had some interesting things in it but I’m hate reading this series at this point. If it ends with every character dead I’d be so happy because they’re all so awful. Honestly they keep blaming the town for them being so shitty and that’s just so ridiculous. A town can’t make you be an awful person, just saying.

No one is ever not eavesdropping. The art style is so nice when they go into town. More sunny places away from their domiciles please. How was Chako mentioning getting cut from student council not seen as a power play? So Chako has to be hospitalized for weight loss but not her underage lover for attempted suicide. How is Rei not seeing the obvious tear-apart plot?

Gen went from being my fav character to a shell of himself. Really doesn’t seem well-planned from the author at all… And now everyone’s just brushing off an almost rape? I always say I’m confused, but this is just out of everyone’s character… and Rei still doesn’t have a personality. He’s a piece of paper skittering on the wind, as 2D and do-nothing.

At least we get to see Tokyo and Nagi’s maybe sliver of a backstory. The last ch. is suspenseful and I always knew the Gen/mom thing so it’s no surprise.

Plot has slowed way down, but has evened out. A lot of this volume is backstory, and basically a long explanation of how we got from the events in the past to the chain of events in the "future". Also, the mother and the teacher are both plotting something, but I don't know what. Very ominous though.

The truth unfolds this volume and Reiji is getting an earful of it. Esemori gives him his life story and all the connections in an unfiltered expose only as a dramatic author, such as himself, can give. This hits hard and although I can figure the true reasons for Esemori doing what he does I just can't wait until he drops the reason himself. God I hope that it comes in the next volume lol! Plus all the stuff still going on back home this story is still anybody's guess.
