Welcome to West Ranch!Where the men are as fiercely loyal as cowboys come. They work hard, but they love even harder! Giddy up! It's going to be a fast and sweet ride! There are a million and a half reasons why I’ve kept my hands off the new cook at West Ranch. She’s young and sweet and I should keep my big, calloused hands off her. For eight weeks I’ve been living in hell. Watching her from afar, putting my big cowboy boots in my mouth every time I talked to her. She thinks I hate her and I can’t blame her.I’ve been a jerk. And she’s had enough. She might be attracted to me too but she’s done waiting for me to make a move. She’s no ones doormat and I love that she tells me how it is. The idea of seeing her with anyone else lights a fire under me to make a move.A cowboy my age might be a little rusty but I’m no rodeo clown. This city girl who knows her way around my heart is my forever. I’m ready to settle down this fall because the sound of her sweet voice is my favorite October kind of melody.
I swear each book she writes gets hotter and hotter! Amazing! Sometimes I get a little 😒 with her books but she’s a one click author for me and lately her books are awesome! It’s very romantic, kind of sweet and totally safe! Some of her Heroes are manwh… like this one but you don’t see it and she’s not a virgin so… it’s not a problem for me! The secondary characters are really interesting and I hope she writes a Novella or something about her father… and Connie could get some grovel… ummm This is a series about cowboys in a ranch, and despite in Spain that’s something exotic, I find myself very interested 🤣🥰, so… give it a try!
What a fantastic hot, sweet read!! Loved the first in this series and I love this one!! This is gearing up to be an amazing series and I can't wait to read more. Any who Troy and Melody.... he can't seem to keep his foot out of this mouth or grunting when they first meet. When she finally has enough of him giving her the cold shoulder, will he pull his head out of his..... boot?!! Lol!
I loved Troy and Melody. Mel sees Troy and trips and falls in a fountain and takes him with her. That’s the beginning of their love story. But can Mel ever get Troy to not be the grumpy guy that seems to ignore her. Loved this story, once Troy man’s up he and Mel are great together. This is a fun steamy read, fascinating paced and once started could not put down. Loved it. Excellent grumpy cowboy sweet woman.
What a fun story about two people who meet in an unconventional way, and it leaves both of them with feeling toward each other. She is working at the same ranch, but feels like he doesn’t like her at all. Watch these two figure out their attraction. Great story.❤️
I really loved this book! Troy West is a bit gruff and a bit intimidating. But what he wasn’t expecting was to land in the fountain with his forever. Melody turns his head and he never looks back. Let’s just hope the grumpy cowboy doesn’t blow it.
This is a well written short story with great characters. I came away feeling like the story was complete. This is the first book I have read by this author, but it will not be the last. I have already got the other three books. I would encourage everyone to go get this one it is worth your time. This is a quick read, but it is for that longer afternoon time out.
I haven't been into cowbow/western romances in years...but I love everything by Mayra Statham, so I gave this series a try. So glad I did. As usual the stories are great and I love the characters.
I feel a bit conflicted with this review. I was absolutely loving this story and seeing how our grumpy sunshine couple were growing and falling for each other and then it suddenly turned to insta-love with a breeding kink (which isn’t my personal favourite), which felt a bit abrupt. I think this was in part because of how short the book was. I actually desperately wanted more - a bigger story with more pages to explore their connection and love. Mayra is a wonderful writer. Troy and Melody are great characters with an adorable meet cute. I also loved seeing the characters from book 1. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
