And yes, multiple exclamation points ARE both ridiculous and unnecessary. However, when good writing can catch me by surprise, it’s one of the few tools in my toolbox to convey the uniqueness of the situation.
This book wraps up all of the major issues and brings a nice clean ending to this first story arc. There is a fifth book available on pre-order so it’s clearly not the final end. It will be interesting to see what they do with the next book, whether it launches a new arc or serves as a sort-of after-action report and epilogues the series. Either way, I’m all in.
Certainly appreciate the effort to make positive endings to each book in this series. By the end of book 4, Jack had turned over his SPP prisoners to Augustus and started setting up his training center with plenty of places for everyone to live and be safe. Fortunately, Augustus and the professor and his daughter stayed at the private island retreat to get to know each other. Happy trails!
Congratulations to Michael Anderle for another really amazing series. It’s hard to find such an interesting and exciting author who not only writes intelligently but also provides top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series.
Things got a bit sticky there for a bit, but it's all on track for now. I like how things turned out for everyone. What's going to happen next though?!
I enjoyed the edition of the Elementalist series. This is book 4 and the adventures. The travels of Jack Williams and his crew is funny, snarky, and full of supernatural enjoyment!
