An engaging collection of stories about a wolf shifter finding their one. There's a prequel and three stories. They were all new for me to read and they have likable characters whose chemistry sizzles, romantic encounters, and drama and action that I enjoyed reading till the end. I volunteer to read and review this copy I'd received.
Dark Sentinels Prequel
This short story starts this series and it's about Syreena Adler and Cord Velasquez who are wolf sentinels. Cord carries guilt over the death of his family, so he keeps everyone away. He video calls Syreena who his wolf knows is his mate. Syreena decides to surprise visit him. Will he keep her away or will he follow his heart?
Sable
This story is about Dr. Akila Marshall a vet and Sable a wolf shifter. Sable is out looking for his twin sister Syreena when he gets caught. Getting a call from the city shelter, Akila takes Sable in who's stuck in his wolf form. When Sable finally gets unstuck, what will happen.
Torin
This story is about Stephanie Bates a real estate lawyer and Torin DuMonta lone wolf forensic scientist. Torin needs legal advice, so his father sent him to Stephanie. Stephanie cancelled their meeting because she's busy with another case. Angry after waiting for an opening, Torin leaves after Stephanie throws him out for closing. As she leaves to go home, she gets accosted, and Torin rescues her. Torin is investigating the murders of wolves and shifter that were discovered. Will Torin be able to protect Stephanie from all the threats?
Parrish
This story is about Dana Rainwater a pop-gospel singer who's dying and Vadrian Parrish a renowned architect and wolf shifter who sees visions. After seeing the murder of her manager, Dana decided to quit after one more concert. She decides to meet Vadrian to build her house in Montana. Vadrian visions shows him a female who's his mate and that danger surrounds her. When they meet will Vadrian step up to protect her?

Sable is actually a shifter and had tried to rescue his sister who was kidnapped by hunters. He ended up being captured by them as well and they experimented on him. A drug kept him from shifting back to human. Eventually he is able to shift back to his human form again, but he needs to find his sister if she is still alive. Will he go back again to Akila? Can she accept him when she finds out that he is a wolf shifter?

I personally love when you can get a series - or at least the first three, let alone the first three and the prequel!
Each story in the series is based off a sentinel shifter meeting his mate. The prequel begins with Cord followed by Sable, Torin, and Vadrian Parrish. Each of these men have a twin sister whose names begin with the same letter, though Vadrian’s twin’s name is Patrice like is middle name(?).
As you move from story to story, time is moving forward, so there are moments on where the prior book characters are in the current time. Each having their side of the huge plot finding the main antagonist who hopes to take the make of each wolf shifter, especially the sentinels aka the guardians of the shifter galaxy!.

The prequel and first three books are included. The fourth book will have the conclusion to all their stories. Loved the characters and premise of the situations. Their backstories, meet ups and coming together for a cause brings a lot of surprises and great banter. Lots of bad guys, pitfalls to conquer, unexpected situations and twists but also steamy moments, entertaining situations, revelations and changes of heart. The stories grab you right from the start and the developments make it hard to put down. Loved the vivid locales and chemistry that overrides the issues.

Howling Good Read
Dark Sentinels Limited Edition is definitely a collection for those who love reading about shifting, transforming and hot, sexy and true Alpha hard chemistry.
This is the first time I have ever read anything from this author, and this collection is well worth the time… including it being your first from this author. Im so looking forward to seeing more, including Zack’s story.

This was a great boxed set filled with the first books in the Dark Sentinels series. The character work and story lines in each book were well written. I was hooked and kept coming back for more. I enjoyed having these books together in one collection for my reading ease.

I do so love boxset/bundles! Each book is a quick read. A good steamy paranormal with wolf shifters. Entertaining and great storylines.

Love this series
I love this entire series, or at least the ones I've read. I've read a few out of order then decided to start at the beginning. I'm very happy I did and can't wait to continue.

They all end in a HFN, and continue with the story through the next books. Things happen just because, with little to no build-up. And other stuff happens too conveniently. It was OK, though.
