It takes a lot to shake me, and even when I’m upset, most people wouldn’t even know it. There was just something about the last job that kept me from keeping my cool. I know how dangerous it is, and knew even better when I had to be carried away that day, becoming literally less of the man that entered that compound. I was ordered to rest, recover, and recuperate, all under the watchful eyes of the team’s psychologist. She was there to get in my head, to watch for signs that I may be a danger to myself. She became my outlet, the calm to the storm trying to take over in my head. There would be no problem with what we were doing because the possibility of returning to work with the Cerberus MC was never going to happen, and if there was an off-chance I would, walking away would be easy, right?

Secrets are poison. They eat away at you from the inside.I doubt there’s a single person in the club that would have a problem with who I am. Keeping my mouth shut is all about my own shame. Who I am isn’t acceptable. That’s what my Fundamentalist family raised me to believe, but even after leaving home, I couldn’t be myself. Fighting against it never really became a struggle until the flirty bartender set his eyes on me. He made me wish for things I couldn’t have. Resisting him was easy until that first kiss. Now there’s a very real chance my shame will ruin us both.

Absolutely Awesome
For MC lovers this box set is a must read because Ms. James is one of the best at giving me a series that I devour as soon as they release. The Cerberus men are above and beyond a lot of bikers who are out to do good at whatever means necessary.
This box set includes Spade, Aro and Boomer’s stories that were all five star reads for me. I can’t recommend this series highly enough.

Spade, Aro and Boomer’s stories are amazing additions to an already incredible series . Each story was equally thrilling, enjoyable and seductive. I loved these books. Marie James never ceases to amaze me.

I enjoyed the books in the set but they were different from the others . not much suspence. But the things people go through are there . and the hard decisions that some have to make!

Enjoyable read. Some books I preferred to others but that’s a personal preference on genre and not a reflection on the author’s writing ability.
