Destiny brought them together, but is reality tearing them apart?
CJ and Keston continue their witty banter and grumpy/sunshine romantic attraction in this sequel to the high-octane unpredictable romance of Lime to My Coconut.
Picking up where Limeleft off, CJ must figure out if she can trade her comfortable life as a New York City lawyer for a grittier one on a small tropical island with gorgeous views and constant mayhem.
Between an annoying donkey who steals her clothes off the line, fishermen who play practical jokes on her, Keston’s glamorous ex-girlfriend who seems more foe than friend, and a volunteer job at a museum with no visitors, CJ is flailing about like a fish out of water.
Until she discovers a journal belonging to a descendant of a fabled St. Nicholas pirate with a hidden treasure.
Determined to prove to herself and Keston that she belongs on St. Nicholas, CJ sets out to find the treasure for the islanders.
But everything that can go wrong does and CJ and Keston find themselves once again in impossible situations where they must either work together to survive or call it quits and go their separate ways.

Lynn Joseph's adventure travel, island hopping, and lifelong wandering have a purpose. And it's not just to find the best crepes, gelato, and champagne! She swears! Lynn writes about the places she falls in love with. She's discovered in her travels that everyone is looking for a romance and a happy ending! Especially romance authors! Her USA home base is the charming Ferry Village in South Portland, Maine, and her international home base is the Caribbean Island of Tobago, where she’s known as the Mermaid Queen. Lynn believes in protagonists of color traveling and changing the world. And falling in love, of course! She almost always finds a way to work in crepes, gelato, or champagne as part of the story (to support the research!) If you're ready for some sweet romance, join Lynn on her journey of love, food, and romantic destinations (not necessarily in that order).
CJ and Keston are back 🥰. CJ has 6 weeks to decide if she's moving to be with her love or not. This book has that grumpy sunshine effect and keston isnt the grumpy one. This was about an adventure to find hidden treasure for Keston And Kelly. I absolutely loved this book. I loved that she is older and he is younger. This book gave me all the feels, the love they have for each other is so sweet..it left me in awww a few times. And the spice 🌶🔥 was on point. 😘
Cute island romance with a little spice.. this would be a great summertime beach or vaca read!
You’ve got romance, an interesting and mischievous donkey, navigating a new relationship, relocating, an interesting mystery involving the history of the island and its families AND even a treasure hunt.
The author does a great job of painting the picture of the book in your mind as your read, beautiful descriptions!
Quick, easy, fun read.. pick it up and head to the beach!
I do not even know where to start here... I LOVE the characters of this series and this book just strengthened that. If you are looking for a beachy read with STEAMY scenes and a delicious plot, you will find it in this book. I could not put this book down, I read both in the series in under 36 hours... From an ever-developing romance to pirates (!!!) there is a little something for everyone in this book. The skillful storytelling drew me into the vibrant world of the Cocoa Reef Resort and it felt like I was right there with them. Rum to the Reggae is the perfect blend of romance, mystery, adventure, and tropical allure to fit anyone's taste!
Well, Ms CJ is quite an adventurous lady (in more ways than one). This was a fun read, and this review is from someone who never cared for romance novels. I loved that the story was not just about romance. CJ and Keston had lives before they met that would influence their decisions. This was nicely disclosed with new and old supporting characters who up the ante in an adventure that would take us into a third book. I patiently await.
Welcome back to Cocoa Reef Resort- Sandy beaches, delicious drinks, and one very insecure CJ. This was such a blast catching up with CJ and Keston as they navigate the waters of their relationship. Plus we get a whole new cast of characters to love (or hate) With buried pirate treasure, relationships, and a family mystery to solve, this story is a wonderful break from reality
I truly have become invested in the Cocoa Reef Resort series. The adventures that Keston and CJ take didn't seem force but appropriate being that story takes place on St. Nicholas island. I am amazed the character growth of CJ from being a New Yorker who is used to the finer things in life to becoming a immersed within the culture and atmosphere of St. Nicholas as if she was a native shows how much she loved Keston. Keston is just the epitome of what a MMC should be in a romance story. He is just that guy is so romantic without even trying. I can't wait to read Book 3 of the series.
Off and say. Love. This is a great read. I love the love in this book. I love how the author craft her stories and how she bring light about St. Nicholas Island it make me want to visit and fall in love with my Keston or Kelly. Might have to book a flight. Read this book.
It took me a while to read this one it kept feeling like something was missing. Or even like it was all over the place for a while. Glad it came together and still no weddings.
Part 2 gave us more of the love shared between 2 deserving people but also secrets revealed and adventure. I was left waiting for the mother/daughter meet up. Maybe in book 3?!?
