Escape to the enchanting Cocoa Reef Resort on St. Nicholas Island this Christmas, where love is in the air and a Grinch is on the loose! CJ's thriving business, True Love Trips, is helping couples experience the magic of true love on the secluded No Man's Land, where she and Keston first fell for each other. With the help of her mischievous new friend, Trixie the donkey, CJ is spreading joy one luxury picnic basket at a time. But trouble is brewing in paradise. CJ's wealthy ex-boyfriend, Marcus O'Brien, has returned to St. Nicholas with a vengeance. Aided by Keston's ex-girlfriend, who happens to be the head of the island's Property & Procurement Department, Marcus is on a mission to buy up every inch of land, even threatening to shut down the beloved shopping stalls where Santa greets visitors. To make matters worse, he's set his sights on the breathtaking love spot that is the heart of CJ's business, planning to transform No Man's Land into an exclusive resort. Can CJ and Keston's love withstand the schemes of a billionaire with a grudge? Will Keston's tantalizing holiday drinks, infused with hibiscus petals and exotic spices, be enough to save St. Nicholas from the Grinch determined to steal everyone's joy? Find out in Spice For My Santa, the standalone Book 3 in Lynn Joseph's Cocoa Reef Resort series. This steamy, opposites-attract Caribbean adventure is perfect for readers who dream of sipping cocktails on a sun-drenched beach while indulging in a swoon-worthy romance.
Lynn Joseph's adventure travel, island hopping, and lifelong wandering have a purpose. And it's not just to find the best crepes, gelato, and champagne! She swears! Lynn writes about the places she falls in love with. She's discovered in her travels that everyone is looking for a romance and a happy ending! Especially romance authors! Her USA home base is the charming Ferry Village in South Portland, Maine, and her international home base is the Caribbean Island of Tobago, where she’s known as the Mermaid Queen. Lynn believes in protagonists of color traveling and changing the world. And falling in love, of course! She almost always finds a way to work in crepes, gelato, or champagne as part of the story (to support the research!) If you're ready for some sweet romance, join Lynn on her journey of love, food, and romantic destinations (not necessarily in that order).
Spice for my Santa by Lynn Joseph is definitely a spicy and fun new story in the life of CJ Jones and her hot lover Keston Kips from the Caribbean Island St. Nicholas.
She’s left her New York job and moved to the island to live with him and hopefully marry him someday and she’s trying to figure out what her new career path will be. Keston is a mixologist at the bar at the island’s resort.
And she’s surprised when a baby girl she gave up for adoption 19 years ago contacts her and asks to meet. They do get together and all goes well and they decide to keep in touch and be a new family. The daughter’s name is Lucy.
Meanwhile she finds out that an old billionaire boyfriend Marcus who almost asked her to marry him and who she also knew in college and had a one-night stand with is Lucy’s father.
Next Marcus buys the island resort and fires Keston and cancels the annual Christmas festivities for the children of the island who wouldn’t get gifts or see Santa otherwise.
How all this gets solved is worth reading this amazing book for.
I think I say this Everytime I read another one from this author, but this one is the best yet! From the holiday setting, the mysteries, and riding Trixie - this book kept me invested and craving to know what's coming next 🔥 don't miss out on this Caribbean love story
Cj and Keaston are back for more adventures. This couple has truly been through some ups and downs. But I love the love they have for each as long as CJ stays out her head they'll be alright
CJ sure knows how not to live the quiet life on an island. Like the first two books, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It tied up loose ends from the last book, and I like that the brothers repaired their relationship. There is no competition between them, and Keston seems to understand and accept that Kelly is his own person. Sometimes, I thought CJ had a crush on Kelly, and the story would go another way. Maybe she does… won’t that be scandalous.
The spice was constant but not a distraction to the plot. I look forward to seeing how Marcus and Tabitha fit into book four as they end up sort of like enemies who have redeemed themselves. Will they all become friends? Will they become a big group of couples? Will they stand together against the new enemy? I guess Ms Lynn Joseph will decide. I look forward to any scenario.
3.5/5 STARS! My first book from this author and in this series and I'm obsessed. This is hilarious and fun and steamy and adorable. A great holiday read that will have you loling and swooning all in 1 chapter. This is a perfect read for anyone needing something light and sweet & fluffy. Definitely recommend.
I feel like I started this book so long when in actuality it took four long months. It seemed like the best part was finding each other and trying to build a life together but with so many obstacles; I’m already waiting for the next installment with great anticipation. 🌹
This was a cute 3 part series. I really only kept reading because I just love Keston but honestly didnt really care for CJ. She could be annoying at times and immature but I did like that she started to stand her ground as the story went on.
