I always try to read atleast one book in a regional language which for me is Punjabi and Hindi.
For Punjabi this year I have read this book of poetry called milange jroor.
A book which most of us could relate to, the poetry as you read it makes you numb due to the heaviness it puts on our hearts and souls of going away from someone who you love and pour your heart to.
Love is so much more than just being in love with a person, especially when you live in a society full of norms which are way beyond being human, veiled under casteism, class difference, religious and communal disharmony and where love fails around all this chaos.
This book fits somewhere in there, love lost in society, preserved in heart.
