A pretty informative book about the history of Biltmore and how it operates today. If you're an avid reader of Biltmore history you may not really learn anything new, but I enjoyed reading it and looking at the photos.

A lovely overview of the histories of the Vanderbilt family & the Biltmore estate, with lots of high-quality photographs. I don't get to visit the estate nearly as much as I'd like, but this book lets me revisit it in another way.

Got this book years ago because I always wanted to go there. Has excellent photos but I never read it till now. We’re going there in two weeks for our anniversary! Learned lots of info on the Vanderbilt family & the house itself. I’m even more excited for the trip now👍

I rarely enjoy historical informational text, especially if it is a guide created to make money for a tourist attraction. I was surprised, however, by this book. I enjoyed the insights and personal tour that it offered. I can't wait to visit the Biltmore and see the rooms and things that were only described in the book.
