***WARNING*** This is not your average feel-good coming-of-age Christian fiction novel. While this tale is a clean read, it is just as much raw as it is redemptive.Everything is lackluster in 16-year-old Raya’s faith-based world until she wakes up in an underground bunker with a bullet hole in her back. Trying to piece together what happened, she learns an unprecedented attack on her church group left her and others without guardians.

Through her father’s prophetic insight to build the safe haven, Raya makes it her mission to help others in danger avoid her same fate—by any means necessary.

But with a ruthless, government-sanctioned army on her trail, she will need all the help she can get to fight physical warfare as well as spiritual.

Unraveling the mystery behind the attack leads her down a rabbit hole of dystopian proportions.

Will discovering the truth change her world forever? And is there still hope of finding her parents alive?

If you enjoy books like Hunger Games, Divergent, and Books of the Maccabees, this story will not disappoint!

In a dystopian world where the government suppresses faith, minorities are branded as criminals for their beliefs. One family, braced for persecution through a vision, operates in a secret underground sanctuary, defying a regime determined to extinguish their convictions.

Should have won the contest it was in great read!

“Sanctuary: The Chosen Trilogy” by Elisabeth Fowler and Cheyenne Nikole is undoubtedly a well-written page-turner that I’d give a solid 5 stars! This book is a fast-paced and engaging read that kept me hooked from the very first page.

The story is both tense and emotional, tackling timely and relevant themes in a highly imaginative and thought-provoking dystopian setting. Raya, the strong female protagonist, leads an adventurous and descriptive journey that is as entertaining as it is intense.

The spiritual elements woven into the narrative add depth and make it even more thought-provoking. The book is filled with inspirational quotes and moments that are truly powerful. The clever and creative storytelling by the authors makes this an inspirational and pensive read, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a riveting tale of courage and faith in the face of danger.

I have been waiting for a book such as this!

I really enjoyed book #1 and couldn't wait to read it during my free time. Loved the topic and scriptures that caused you to pause and think. You can see the events occurring as the authors have written. Don't want to provide any spoilers, but the dreams, the ending.... Insert good sigh here....I didn't want it to end. Can't wait for the next books! I hope the story continues with these main characters so we can see them to the finale of it all.

Christian apocalyptic type thriller

Great story. Very biblical based with lots of scripture mentions and faith filled lessons.
The story is tense from beginning to end, there is no resolution and readers will have to read the next book to find out what happens to the survivors.
