This is hands down, the BEST book on the church & living in the tension with Christianity I have ever read.
I grew up as a PK (pastor’s kid!) and in ministry, married into a family in ministry running a church, was on staff at that church and then left said staff at church with my husband to go on our own faith journey. My husband and I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly that church and this life within the church can offer. We love Jesus but these last few years with the church has left us limping to say the least 😂
This book spoke to deep corners of my heart. It gave freedom to finally speak about things that I wrestled with in the 3am cry/prayer sessions only Jesus knew about. It gave space to question and most importantly wrestle WITH Jesus and not against him.
This books and its message is the bridge that is going to lead Gen Z back to Jesus. This book is the road map to revival within Gen Z. (I’ll give you a small spoiler to what the message of the book is; ONLY JESUS!!!) JESUS HAS SPACE FOR YOU AND HE IS WALKING THIS JOURNEY WITH YOU.
