With their irresistible brand of pop, ABBA was the band that made dancing queens groove, the group that never met its Waterloo, the winner that took it all. They outsold and outperformed all their rivals throughout the 1970s, inspired a hit show that's run for decades, and served as the soundtrack for beloved movies. This magnificent tribute, written by the director of the ABBA Museum in Stockholm, takes an intimate, humorous look at the iconic quartet. In addition to brand-new interviews with all four members and backstage staff who have rarely if ever spoken about their work, it features never-before-seen images and removable facsimile memorabilia—including diaries, lyrics, a handwritten set list, and more. Every fan will treasure this unique volume!
Hardback, shaped like a scrapbook. 80 pages. This is absolutely filled with information on ABBA in general, information about their various albums along with loads and loads of photos. There are also some packets in the book that contain reproductions of things related to their concerts. This is a absolute must for ABBA fans.
This was a really good book. It was interesting and told of many stories of ABBA on tour. It was truly a really good book and loved the descriptions of ABBA’s fashion on their tours. It included really amazing physical replicas of tour schedules, backstage passes, etc. I would recommend to anyone who has a interest in anything ABBA related.
Many books have been published about this Swedish quartet. But this book, written by the director of the ABBA Museum in Stockholm, features new (at the time) interviews with the four members of the group as well as behind-the-scenes staff. Several of the images in the books were never printed before, and the book also contains removable (reproduced) memorabilia like tickets and set lists. It's a great tome for fans to add to their collection. New readers should be aware however that this was printed well before the foursome's brief reunion in 2021.
