Oh Reader is a US-based magazine about books – not so much about the books themselves and more about the lives of those who read them, 'because the books we read shape who we are as people'.
Found it extremely boring to read about what other people read....one article is describing moving with boxes of books, other one about manga, the other one about a solider and book he read, over all focus is on liberal ideas about not having kids, LGBT, antiracism, snowflakes, everything offends everyone, and all that. Kind of magazine about nothing. Not my thing at all.
I am enjoying this magazine. The articles are short. They can be read in just a few minutes throughout the day. They cover a range of reading subjects. In this issue we have memories of childhood favorites, cookbooks, short stories, fictional friends, poetry about the library, and much more.
I’ve read every single issue and this was my favorite. I literally could not put it down. Each story was engaging. I could relate with every writer and felt as though each article was written for me!
