Rate this book
Thea Apsconsus is about to embark on her first year of college, eager to leave the events of the last year in the past. Gehenna University should be the perfect place for a fresh the buildings are beautiful, the classes are interesting, and she has gotten used to taking her medication.

It was either that, or see a dreaded timer ticking down the seconds of a person’s life.

As soon as she arrives, though, it becomes clear to Thea that this place is anything but ordinary. Sure, everything seems great on the surface, aside from a nosy RA and a judgemental peer—but there is a nagging feeling that she doesn’t have the whole truth. As the semester continues, Thea begins to encounter more peculiarities, along with trying not to dwell on the whispers of her past. To move forward, she will need to figure out the mysteries that hide in the shadows, or forever be haunted by them.

If she digs a bit deeper though, she may not like what she finds.

This was an incredible book! I was left shocked and speechless! The characters felt so real and the emotion in the book really resonated with me. I couldn't put it down, I wanted to know more and more after each chapter. Very captivating!
