A story of death, survival, frozen fear and fire!
Matthew Pippin's inaugural title did not disappoint. The story of nine strangers, nine survivors stranded alone together in the middle of nowhere with only themselves to rely on. As the story unfolds, mystery unfolds with it and one of the survivors may not be who they claimed be. From a bus crash, to a dilapidated house the strangers have to wait out a snowstorm and the mystery of their dwindling numbers. One begins to wonder if anyone will make it out alive.
It's past midnight and I couldn't not finish this today! It's been a roller coaster of a read. I'm a personal fan of small town, local authors and Pippin's first written work did not disappoint. I'm hopeful this is only the first of many stories he writes as well as his performances he continues to dazzle in!
I'd say if you like dark mysteries, or characters that surprise you, this would be a book you would enjoy.

A thriller with no filler so I was hooked.
I like how people and places were described in a way that didn't take 4 pages.
The story was strong and the ending was wild. Highly enjoyed
