It’s a typical day in the life of John Constantine: Thieving, lying, shagging and allying himself with a major enemy in order to fight a greater threat!

When Constantine pays Azar Anna a visit, she mentions that she senses something coming. It’s meant to be a tease for Trinity War, but it’s weird because she mentions that Constantine will talk to Batman, Superman, and Lex Luthor. He says that he hasn’t met them, which must mean these first four issues are prior to Justice League Dark. I do recall him meeting Batman, at least.
3.5 - This is what I was hoping for from a new Constantine series: our anti-hero prowling his familiar surroundings in NYC as we are reintroduced to the concept that even his best friends are enemies.
