A funny and insightful shot at philosophical Satanism. He synthesizes a lot of old texts from Canaanite mythology and ancient Israel into a story that serves the format of a spiritual life for a skeptic. It reminds me most of Nietzsche's Thus Spake Zarathustra. Temple Satanists and/or ex-Mormons, or any former Christian/Abrahamic theist, would be the target audience here. But anyone adjacent to these or merely curious would enjoy it.

This book is perfect for spooky season! It’s fun and dark, but it’s also poignant and philosophical. I love a story that makes you laugh AND think!

WTF did I just read?????!!!!!
Some of this was satirical, some was philosophical, some was just funny, but the ending was way out there.
