Sienna Monroe, Aurelia, and Riley are enjoying the five-year anniversary celebration of Pierre Delacroix's French Cafe-Bakery. Her Friend, from the Widow Support Group, Aurelia all of a sudden passes out and collapses. Sienna's quick thinking has Riley calling 911 while, she is helping her Friend get safely to the Floor. At the hospital, Aurelia is diagnosed with Carbon Monoxide poisoning and remains unconscious. Aurelia's Nephew, Riley and Sienna are also tested. and Both have elevated Carbon Monoxide levels. Officer Isaac Jackson, who is with the patient in the Bed next to Aurelia, refers Sienna to Tiffany Leighton, a firefighter. From previous cases, Officer Jackson knows Senna will begin her own investigation of this strange occurrence! From Tiffany, Sienna learns more about Carbon Monoxide and how it affects the body, as well as, how Carbon Monoxide Detectors should operate properly! Sienna purchases a new Carbon Monoxide Detector for Pierre using this new information. Sienna is at the Police Department with Officer Jackson when the next call comes in and she rushes to find Pierre and one of her own employees, Sapphire being rushed to the hospital this time! Luckily, Pierre's employee, Priscilla called 911 when the new Carbon Monoxide Detector went off! Knowing what was happening, Pierre and others had time to get everyone out of the Bakery before anyone passed out! No spoilers now! If you are like me and enjoy an Awesome Cozy Mystery, I recommend you read this Book! This is the 4th Book in this Series, but it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone Book. I have read the Prequel and now four Books in this Series and all are excellent. I highly recommend the entire Series. It is like I have new friends, that I care about, in these Books!

I received an ARC Book from the Author. This is my voluntary and honest review.

Perfect Pairing is book 4 in a very good series that keeps you wanting more. The characters are well developed and likeable. Sienna is a widow and although she may have feelings for her once frenemy Pierre, she won't push it further because she feels she would be unfaithful to her past husband's memory. When Sienna, Riley and Sienna's friend, Aurelia are at Pierre's 5th anniversary celebration for his bakery, Aurelia drops and has to make it to the hospital in order to survive and Riley and Sienna were taken down as well, although mildly. It is carbon monoxide poisoning and Sienna enlists her friends, Tiffany Leighton , firefighter and Officer Isaac Jackson to find the source of the poisoning. Shockingly, Sienna finds that there is something clogging the vent, she decides to investigate. Why would someone do this? Was there an intended victim? Was the elderly Aurelia the victim since she nearly died? Who did this? Why? With so many twists and turns, just when you think you got it...you don't! A great ending with a surprise. I highly recommend this whole series and this book is a great addition. I received and ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

This is another really good mystery by Ms Dorn. This is part of a series but each book is written to be a stand alone so you don’t have to read the others before you read this one. However, to get captured in Ms Dorn’s imagination and made up town you really want to read these in order. You come to know the characters as family, as if you were standing in the bakery helping make icing. Or experiencing Sienna’s memories of her police husband that had passed each time she used a maneuver he taught her.
This story did start out a little “slow” but once it picks up it took off like a snowball rolling downhill! I had changed my mind twice about who had done it and was still incorrect at the end. So fun and creative! And the ending will leave you smiling and looking forward to the next Sienna book!
This is a clean mystery. No bad language or situations unsuitable. So I can recommend this to any preteen advanced reader or anyone wanting a good clean mystery to read

Sienna Monroe , baker and semi-amature sleuth. is at Pierre's bakery celebrating his 5th anniversary in business when her friend Aurelia collapses. After being rushed to the hospital it's found that she has carbon monoxide poisoning, as does Sienna and Riley, but to a lesser extent. After finding out what had caused her freind's collapse, and a subsequent incident, Sienna decides to find the cause. She returns to the bakery and with the help of firefighter Tiffany Leighton and Officer Isaac Jackson she discovers a device hidden in the air intake vent. Who put this there and why lead to a sustained search for the culprit.
A slightly darker cozy than the earlier Sienna Monroe stories but a well played out mystery and more development of the characters in this series. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to more adventures with Sienna and company.

This story of the Perfect Pairing:A Sienna Monroe Cozy Mystery was a great book. It was a page turner and the suspense was dangerous. I was hooked and I was at the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down. The plot was dark mysteriously but cozy . Sienna was a wonderful baker who was celebrating her 5th anniversary of the success of her business. As her friend Aurelia had collapsed due to carbon monoxide poisoning so they had to rush her to the hospital before she die. Sienna was worried about her friend health but luckily they got her to the hospital in time. Couple of days later Aurelia had recovered from the poison. But her friend Pierre had feelings for Sienna but she did not feel the same way about him. She still love her late husband very much. Will Sienna and Pierre find out who wanted her friend dead or sick. I highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed. Don’t Waste Time when your Heart is Moved

Sienna is enjoying the five year celebration of Pierre's French cafe-bakery. Over the past two years they have gone from being enemies to  close friends as Sienna has solved several mysteries that have come up and stopped a blackmail attempt to Pierre, saved his life, and his business on several occasions. Sienna has grown to love and care for Pierre and those around her. Although her heart is still true to her late husband, she has developed feelings for Pierre but will not pursue those feelings, even though Pierre has seriously flirted with her. Her closest and dearest friend Aurelia is overcome with monoxide poisoning she feels determined to find out what caused it and the shutdown for two days of Pierre’s shop. What a chase before someone else dies. Excellent book

Ms. Dorn creates an intriguing tale around a woman who was a forensic expert until the death of her husband. She picked up and left that life behind when died and opened a bakery in a small town in Tennessee. She calls upon the knowledge from her former job in her new town when she encounters mysteries or deaths, helping the local PD figure out some of the odder ones.
This book in the series follows the pattern. Odd happenings, pointed out by Sienna to her PD friend after her elderly friend is endangered gets her the support of not only the PD but the FD too as they try to piece together the information before something worse happens.
Interesting take on the crime and motive and I enjoyed the hunt for clues.
I received an ARC gratis and offer my opinion in the same.

This edition is a lot less baker and more crime solver. Despite Sienna's new career as a baker, she cannot seem to leave her forensics science background in the background especially when her friend's lives and safety are in jeopardy. It is a bit of deja vu when Pierre's bakery seems to be under sabotage again but her dear friend Aurelia is the first victim of carbon monoxide poisoning. Is someone after Aurelia, Pierre, or was it just a case of the wrong place at the wrong time.

Her keen eye and attention to detail may give the police the break in the case that they need to arrest the perpetrator.

Could not read this book fast enough. Loved it, especially the ending. Once again, Pierre's business is targeted. He along with Sienna, his staff and friends of Sienna, including her good friend, Aurelia, a widow, as well as multiple residents are impacted, some major and some minor, as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning. Sienna doesn't believe Pierre is the only target. Determined to catch the one responsible, she works with Officer Jackson and enlists the help of a woman firefighter to learn more about how the crime was committed and to catch the person behind the attacks. It's Not Only the Killers You Can See

Carbon monoxide is also known as "the silent killer". In "Perfect Pairing", the silent killer poses a larger threat than anyone realizes. You can't see the killer, you can't hear the killer, and by the time you know the killer is there, it's usually too late. Rather like an exceptional sniper or a high-altitude bomber drone, this killer can take a victim without a warning. Sienna Monroe used to be a forensic investigator, but she has no idea why someone would try to kill an elderly widow ... yet she's determined to find some answers.

I honestly love the Sienna Monroe series and how she always seems to be at the right place at the right time. Each book can be read as a stand alone and the author does a nice job of filling in details from previous books. The way Sienna’s mind works and how she uses clues to come up with an answer to solve the mystery is always an enjoyable read. The “regulars” or supporting characters have continued to develop, making the story even more interesting. I honestly hope to read more about Sienna and Pierre in her coming adventures!

Sienna Monroe goes to meet her friend Amelia and her nephew Riley at Pierre's bakery. Suddenly Amelia collapses as she had been poisoned. Someone was targeting Pierre’s bakery by poisoning people with Carbon- Monoxide. Amelia, Sienna and officer Jackson all work together to find the culprit. A lot of suspense and action to make this a very exciting read with a nail bitting finish. I received this book free and leave a honest review. I recommend this book to other readers.

I received this book by being an advance reader. It is part of a series but reads well by itself. The author gives enough background for the characters you don’t realize it’s a set. Sienna is the main character and has a curious mind. Likes doing the right thing. The story line is good and strong. The characters are full of life. It’s set in a smaller town but doesn’t feel that way. It’s a little fun , a little funny and reads well.

This is the fourth installment of the Sienna Monroe Cozy Mystery Series. This time, one of her friends collapses from carbon monoxide poisoning while attending Pierre's fifth-year celebration of his bakery. Using her forensics training and sleuthing experience, she hunts down the poisoner and discovers why the poisonings were occurring. This was an enjoyable cozy mystery.

love this story as it was good not to be dealing with a murder for a change but something that could happen anywhere in the world. Sienna is a very excellant character and so are all the other main characters. And I love how Sienna really care about her friend and fellow humans. And doesn't give up on trying to solve any mystery that comes her way. The author has done another great job with this story. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a cozy mystery.

Perfect Pairing (4)

This story is the forth in the series! This is a great read and I enjoyed it! The story involves two bakeries! They don't make the same treats but only by simple coincidence! The heroine of this story has been through a hard time she however does not let it stand in her way! She is a criminal pathologist and is very helpful to the police! I love most all cozy mystery! If you do also grab a copy soon!

I really enjoyed this book. Reading this book makes me very happy that I have a carbon monoxide detector in my house. While Sienna Monroe helps Officer Jackson find out who is behind all the carbon monoxide getting into buildings around, it was also very informative also. I highly recommend that you read this book and go out and purchase carbon monoxide detectors for your home and or business.

I received an ARC copy of this book and volunteered my honest review.

*Another interesting cozy mystery by this author ! I love how intricate and involved her mysteries are, but still interesting and comfortable. The characters are likeable and real- the kind I would like as friends. The town seems like a nice place to live and, obviously, has some excellent bakeries! (Since the stories FMC owns one of the bakeries).

profound knowledge
Protecting our environment is important but it doesn't justify killing people to make a point. Fortunately observant and vigilant Sienna is able to stop an evironmental activist continuing with his overboarding actions. I was shocked to read about a person having information to protect people from harm using it against them.
I received this book as a review copy.

I may complain about my life being a little, okay, a lot boring, but I’m not sure I want Sierra Monroe’s excitement. Poisonings, blackmail and now carbon monoxide poisoning, might be more than I could handle. I do enjoy letting Sierra and Officer Jackson solve the problems. Not only do we get a good mystery, but we also get romance. I do hope we get more mysteries to solve.

I love this series. Sienna grows in every new book. Perfect Pairing has a clever mystery that kept me reading. People are succumbing to carbon monoxide poisoning. Sienna is on the case. She's so smart and figured out why this was happening before the police did. Kudos to Ms. Dorn for crafting a totally unique story. The romance between Sienna and Pierre is firing up too. Highly recommend.
