Rain, rain go away. Naive rivals I will slay. Touch what’s theirs and they will play. A shallow grave you will lay.
Standing at the top of the DeAngelis empire isn’t as glamorous as it sounds.
Sure, it comes with the kind of power one could only ever dream of, and having three men to lavish me with undeniable pleasure is the greatest perk of all. But where there’s power, there’s pain, and many rivals have died at my feet while learning that lesson.
But this time it’s different. This time, they’ve crossed a line. When an enemy comes for my power, they lose their life. But when an enemy touches what’s mine, they better fucking run.
Depraved Sinners is a New Adult, Dark, Reverse Harem, Contemporary Romance series. It contains explicit sexual content, graphic violence, drug abuse, and coarse language. It is recommended for mature readers.
OK, so this wasn't exactly the extended HEA that I was expecting, but I can't deny that it was perfectly fitting. It's dark and scary and perhaps a wee bit haunting (we'll see how my dreams go).
Shayne Mariano DeAngelis Moretti and the DeAngelis brothers, Levi, Marcus, and Roman, are still a fierce unit, ready to protect and defend what's theirs. I like that some things never change between them.
I love that Dil and Do continue to hold their roles in the family. Their ability to be loving one moment and lethal the next is a reflection of their owners.
There is one thing that bothers me a bit. What happened in that final scene in book four? How did that resolve? I kinda want the whole bow, not just one loop.
This could be read as a standalone, but I'd personally recommend reading in order.
I listened to the audio book as part of 'Depraved Sinners Complete Series'. The narrators are Kelsey Navarro and Blake Lockheart, with Kelsey carrying the bulk of the book as it's nearly all from Shayne's POV. She does a great job making sure all that attitude and strength come hurdling across my earbuds. 🎧❤️🎧
This is the novella I didn’t know I needed. I absolutely fell in love with these characters when I initially read the series and to jump back in years later was everything. Marcus is still as crazy as ever and he’s a parent! Beasts reminded me of how much I missed these characters. I’m going to be doing a reread very soon.
Following on in the series. A short novella, giving us a glimpse into Roman, Shayne, Marcus and Levi’s life with the family, the ups and downs and add in a ‘bit of violence’ lol O! And spicy times 😈
I'm kinda glad I was late the the Sheridan Anne party because it meant I got to read this one start after Maniacs.
I would have liked for it to mention what happened the night of the wedding ceremony thing when the flashing lights turned up but given that the 4 of them are in this one i'm assuming if there was jail time it was a minimum.
I was with Sebastian I didn't like his nanny Chell either. She shouldn't have been saying those kind of things in front of a 5 year old, granted a 5 year old shouldn't have been getting lessons on how to gut someone but with Marcus and Levi as uncle it's to be expected.
I loved that Sebastian took the protective stance with that little girl and here's hoping that their is next generation book in the pipe-line, I would love to read about Sebastian, Snow and any other future DeAngelis in their future.
I think my favourite part of this book had to be the in field job interview or when Levi informs his brothers that they need to glove up because the next baby coming into the house is gonna be his. Go him for standing up to them. Although I know it shouldn't have but Marcus wanting to steal that 1 of the ladies twins because Shayne said she wanted what she had did make me laugh. For someone that seems to love doing the baby-making process with her and not catching on was funny. He does seem to be the most psychotics of the brothers.
🎶I surrender who I've been for who you are. For nothing makes me stronger than your fragile heart🎶
Ruling the DeAngelis empire comes with power, pleasure and blood. With three kings at her side and the world at her feet, she’s learned to wield both desire and death like a blade. Rivals fall, enemies burn, and no one challenges her without consequence. But this time, they didn’t just come for her crown. They came for what’s hers.

I somehow need more of them raising their baby girl and the child she’s expecting with Levi 💌💖❤️💓🤍. This book was so good. This little novella was everything I needed. Just knowing that she is happy with all three of them, fully confident in herself, powerful, and finally comfortable in her life—God, I’m going to miss them so, so much. This was everything I needed, but at the same time, it still wasn’t enough because I love them so much. The fact that Sebastian is a little unhinged in the same way Marcus is makes it even more perfect. I need more of them, actually. I can’t let them go. Marcus is the epitome of perfection. Levi is so perfect in his own right. Roman is Roman—there isn’t much more to say about him, but he’s still part of this messy, beautiful love. And GIRL DAD MARCUS 💞🩷💘💕🪄🤍🥺🥹 will forever live in my heart.

MY FAMILY. Y’all, this series will forever be special to me, and a reread is absolutely guaranteed. Even Dill and Doe were a hit, and I loved how much they added to the story. The fact that they all went through hell and back, yet still stand strong, still have each other’s backs, and now have a family together—it just means everything.

How much murder, mayhem and smut can you cram into a novella? Leave it to Sheridan Anne to manage to not only throw us back into the DiAngelis' world, but to give us allllll the action of both kinds. Love it, and not to spoil anything, but Marcus has the best reaction ever in the dinner scene. Couldn't stop laughing! Short, hawt and action packed to the max - this is a total must-read.
as the leader of one of the most powerful mafia families, shayne moretti is the most feared woman in the country. the other is the deangelis family, which she married into three times over. anyone would be stupid to cross them, but holding the positions they do, they’ll always have a target on their back. the dragoni family is making a move on their territory, essentially starting a turf war.
roman, marcus, & levi deangelis are desensitized to bloodshed, trained to protect their family at all costs. they not only have their wife and their five year old son to think about, but it’s likely they’ll be expecting a new bundle of joy.
shayne moretti has effortlessly stepped into her role as the leader of her bloodline, being the most feared women in the country. she’s tough as nails, spending her days in a professional pantsuit and stiletto heels attending business meetings for her organization. she balances her work and comes to her three husbands and her five year old son.
marcus deangelis is now the father of a newborn baby girl. they name her snow, but that only makes me think of the hunger games.
roman deangelis is determined to protect his child after he’s taken from his kindergarten class. he’ll do anything to keep his family safe.
levi deangelis is still playing the drums even with a young child under the same roof. he’s wants to start his own family with shayne, more than ready for fatherhood. he does like to be called daddy.
it’s hilarious watching the three of them argue in a thai restaurant about which one of them gets to knock up their wife. personally, i think it would have been better if they all considered each kid theirs rather than that nephew and niece bullshit.
sebastian is five years old now and we first see levi & marcus instructing him on how to properly gut a man. shayne already received word from the principal with complaints from other students about her son explaining how to skin a man alive. their parenting techniques are…non-traditional to say the least, but he is going to be ready to take over the deangelis line when he comes of age.
they also end up killing their latest nanny who happens to be a cross-wielding judgmental employee. they don’t have good luck with those. but they do hire good bodyguards.
there was a little bit of a relationship imbalance with roman taking on the role as the father for sebastian, when he’s equally he’s the kid’s older brother. sebastian views levi and marcus as his uncles when they’re his older brothers. it’s an odd dynamic that leaves levi and marcus in a different viewpoint. they’re supposed to all be equally her husbands, but having a kid together with roman upsets the balance. if they all wanted to raise them together, with all three of the brothers having the role as father would have been more fair.
shayne gets a call from her son’s principal, expecting a disciplinary meeting about his behavior. she was blindsided by the woman sobbing into the receiver about how her son was abducted. the kindergarten teacher, mrs. hutchins died trying to protect their son, a bullet hole between her eyes.
they end up rescuing sebastian, and adding on an…adopted newborn baby girl to their home. levi, feeling left out, is determined to have a kid of his own next. they have a lot of empty rooms in there mega mansion to fill.
First, the fact that the last book left off with them on the brink of a police raid (for no apparent reason), left it open for some explanation about what happened there. But we get no explanation about that and this story has no nothing to do with that.
In fact, Zeke (the undercover FBI agent who we met in the last book) plays a role that makes it appear as if he is working with them from time to time. Which honestly makes no sense. Now that his undercover job is over, I don't understand why they are working with him. It's not very mafia-esk to work with a non-crooked cop. And why do they still call him Zeke when we know his real name is Bryan?
Anyways, the story is decent but also doesn't really seem relevant to anything. It's just another random story.
I do like that we get to see how their family is doing a few years down the road. But I can't say I'm completely happy with some things about their dynamics.
Like for example, Sebastian (their adopted son), refers to Roman as his father and the other two as his uncles. Why? When they are in a polyamorous relationship that they don't hide from him, why aren't Marcus and Levi also considered his dads? And the new little girl they steal from a dead lady is now "Marcus' daughter" apparently. Then Levi wants to knock her up with "his kid" since the other two have kids now. So the guys claim children as their own and consider Shayne and their child their family, but don't necessarily consider the whole group as one family. It's just a weird setup and makes them feel less united to me. I didn't like that.
I will say I loved Sebastian though. He's a little badass and that was pretty cool.
Along the way they also acquire a new guard they hire as they are fighting him to get to Sebastian. He is a formidable foe and so they offer him a job because of his fighting skills. This situation was kind of weird. But also kind of funny. However, I don't know that I'd want to hire someone this way. If he's so easily bought off, who's to say he won't be bought by THEIR enemies. I wouldn't be able to ever trust him.
Overall it was an okay epilogue novella. Not bad, but I'm definitely ready to move on to something new now.

I was so happy to see the author made the epilogue and additional novella available on audio because I loved this series so much! Definitely recommend a reread or re-listen because 1. the series is so fantastic but 2. it keeps all the scenes fresh in your mind and some of the inside jokes hit harder in book 4.5 and will make you smile haha.
I loved seeing the guys as dads/uncles in this one. We get the same sexy dynamic and the guys are still unhinged but our Empress is even more BA than she was in the previous books! As the leader of both families pretty much, I want to be like her when I grow up haha with all her confidence. The love she has for her men and her son is heartwarming. We get to see Roman and her son grown up to a kindergartner and their influence on him was hilarious hahaha. I loved when Marcus was sheepish when his lessons were on display for everyone to see and realizing he soaked up way more than they thought hahaha. I loved the new addition to their family, seeing one of the guys being such a cinnamon roll/teddy bear when it came to them was adorable! And then the last guy and him getting dibs on Shayne so he gets to have a kid of his own. Loved it so much! Couldn't stop giggling and smiling.
Even though this was a short book there was great plot, cameos from some awesome characters (yay my favorite wolves!), intros of new ones, sexy time with the group, and vulnerable and gut wrenching emotional moments. So much jam-packed into one story and I would love to see more of these from this author and her series, esp bringing them to audio <3
Narration was fabulous as always, this narrator is one of the only female narrators who is incredible doing guy voices too. I don't miss have a male narrator when she is reading and performing, and that is saying something since I am so picky about my narrators. I thought the fear and panic you feel when things happen at the school was so palpable and the anger that ensued. I felt the love, the determination, the bad-a&^-ery from Shayne and all her men. I couldn't get enough and didn't want it to end. 100000% recommend this story if you have read/listened to the original 4. This is an added bonus on top of a great series and was so happy to get my hands on it!
I loved this little extra story. 5 years later. As bad as the women was it's still sad when she gets killed still prego. But they did the smart thing and got the baby out and is going to raise it. Although I highly think Levi was being selfish. That fact is none of the kids is hers and even tho one is Roman's it's still jot fair to just say it's my turn cause maybe they each want one WITH her and not someone else's child. But I get it too. He feels left out. Anyways I loved this little story they Raising Sebastian to be what he needs to be to take over the family when the time comes. But the right way. Not with abuse. I didn't even know this this one came out as I own all the rest of the series but glad to found it and will buy it as well. I am wondering tho. Sabatian is to take of for his father who is to take over the mothers 🤔 I mean I guess if Levi and Shayne have a daughter or son they could but it would ve years under Sabastian so would he until the other is old enough because we don't get to see when exactly she gets pregnant. I loved who these characters came to be. I wish this was a full book but it was just great getting a bit more so thank you Sheridan Anne for that. This series was awesome your writing was amazing and amoung others that I favor so thanks for that
Those DeAngelis brothers. I am so glad we get to revisit this family! It's fun to get the chance to see where my favorites have ended up. Roman, Levi, and Marcus are just as in love with Shayne as they were five years ago. Now they have a son, Sebastian, and he has been taken. By who and why? These men will do anything for their own, and they are on a rampage. The best of the best as they all do what needs to be done, and come out with a surprise no one sees coming. Plus what a kid Sebastian is! This is a dark and delicious addition to the series!
Kelsey Navarro reprises her role and she pulls out all the stops with these characters! It's so much fun to hear her again as these people, bringing their personalities back and making me remember just why I loved listening to this series. She is amazing and the perfect voice for these characters.
This was a great send off to the series. The Sebastian plotline was really engaging and added some real stakes; he is such a little character and I love what he has brought out in Shane and Roman. Roman being a father was such a key part in the previous books and I liked seeing him thrive in that role. Kelsey Navarro narrating is always great but I loved the warmth she brought out in these characters whilst still maintaining their edge. Glad to see Dill and Doe were still around too!
My interpretation of the star system; 3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again 4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series 5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
With the five year time jump - it's not that I didn't like this Novella / wasn't so grateful to not have to say goodbye to this book so soon, but the jump left me with more questions then answers.
Without giving any spoilers - For example where they are all positioned right now in the criminal underworld, as much as obviously I wanted to know what was happening I instantly had so many questions.
How did that happen. How did this person adapt. How did these people work together. How did this affect peoples interpersonal relationships.
If things like this don't bother you and you are just so excited to get a peak into the future of their family, then I'm sure you would rate this higher. However I personally prefer how the fourth book ended.
Beasts was the perfect wrap-up to the Depraved Sinners series. I devoured it in one quick sitting, and it gave me everything I wanted to see after the wild ride of the first four books.
Shayne has grown into the ruthless, unapologetic queen she was always meant to be, and I loved seeing her dynamic with the DeAngelis brothers shine here. Their bond is strong, raw, and so full of power that it leaps off the page. And Sebastian? Absolute little badass! He brought such a spark to this novella that made it even more fun and heartwarming in between all the brutality and blood.
This was the perfect send-off: quick, addictive, and so satisfying. Sheridan Anne gave this series an ending worthy of Shayne and her sinners, and I couldn’t have asked for more.
This is definitely fast-burn, if you’re looking for something hot and dirty. However, I do recommend reading books 1-4 in this series first if you like dark reads and actual plot—they were SO good.
For someone like myself, who did read the other books, this is a nice little taste-slash-’where are they now’ peek and I am so very here for it.
Crime lords. Rival gangs. Vi0lence. Group scenes. Abduction.
Overall: a super fun installment. 4 stars.
🎧 Audio: The narration was absolutely perfect, as was the rest of the series. Perfect overall sound quality and excellent performance. 5 stars. 🦩
Beasts by Sheridan Anne is a dark reverse harem mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kelsey Navarro. This is a Depraved Sinners novella.
I absolutely love Sheridan's books! She has had me hooked since the first book in this series. I love the relationship between Shayne, Roman, Marcus, and Levi. I really enjoyed getting more of their story.
Kelsey did a great job on the narration. She really knows how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.
I would highly recommend this series if you like dark romances, captive romances, mafia romances, reverse harems, or romantic suspense.
I seriously can’t get enough of this twisted little family. Levi’s dark humor, Marcus’ depravity, and Roman’s dominance…swoon! The possessiveness is the perfect amount of crazy. And of course the story wouldn’t be complete without the infamous Dill and Doe. Absolutely love them. Sebastian is quite the little bad ass now and I can only imagine Snow having them all inevitably wrapped around her little finger in the very near future. I would love to see both Marcus develop as a father and Shayne having a child with Levi. Maybe another short story or extended epilogue? One can only hope 🤞 I’m not ready for their story to end!
When I saw this novella I screamed! I loved the depraved sinners series, still one of my top dark romances I have ever read. To see them now 5 years into running their mafia kingdom, being parents and also still can't get enough of each other was such a treat. I was so here for the plot of their son being taken. And also how a 5 year old is already a lethal boy. Wow! They are all violent people but touch their son, their family, it was game over. I could read these characters every day. Dark, delicious, and sinfully depraved.
I absolutely adored the stories featuring Shayne and the Deangelis Brothers! Sheridan Anne's decision to provide us with an epilogue in the form of a short story was a delightful surprise. It rekindled my love for all the characters, especially the impish Sebastion, he is such a delight! If you've had the pleasure of reading the rest of the Depraved Sinners series (and if you haven't, you definitely should!), this particular read will undoubtedly become a favorite!
I loved this series SO much and when this novella came out I was stoked. Sheridan Anne did not disappoint. Without spoiling anything it really wrapped up nicely. It gave a nice little update on our favorite sinners all the while being stuffed FULL (ha!) Of filth and bad guys being UNalived. The only thing is now I still want MoRe! I guess that's a good writer for ya though. I want to know more about "new guy" 😆
I loved this bonus novella to revisit the world of the Depraved Sinners. We got a taste of what their lives have been like since the end of Maniacs. I enjoyed everything we got here. The heat, the heart, the family and connection. This might have been a short story, but a lot was packed into it, and it was perfectly narrated by Kelsey Navarro. Sheridan Anne is a must read author for me and this story was just a small sample of why. TheFlockVIPReviewTeam
The first book was very hard for me to get through bcccc why was Shayne lwk laying claim over the boys after knowing them like 2 days AND hellooo?!? They’re your captors and were threatening you every like 10 mins 💀But when the second book came, I was hooked. Sorry I kinda love for like miscommunication but I was hoping she would’ve escaped. And I hoped in the novella she would’ve actually gotten her own kid but I’ll take what I was given. I was cracking up at the babysitter.
4.5/5 "He's almost five, and I still haven't gotten enough of the little man. He's my world, and I'd hate to admit it, but he's the real king of my heart." It was good to see Shayne, Roman, Marcus, and Levi's future. Sebastian is going to be a mini Roman, with a touch of Marcus' crazy. I'm not ready to say goodbye, but I love how the story ended. It didn't surprise me one bit that Marcus took a baby lol.

I really enjoyed this novella into life after the events of the previous books. There is no less smutt in this one and it was delicious as always. I loved that the men worked together to get their son back and welcomed a new addition to the family. So worth the quick read and loved it.
Omg I missed these guys soo much!! It made me so happy to dive back into this world and see how much they grew but also stayed the same, and that kid?! Omg, funniest freaking scene ever! (I would expect no less though, I mean really, lol.) Great writing and storytelling as usual. I absolutely loved this novella!
I laughed out loud, I blushed a ton and then my heart raced with worry. This novella takes place five years after the series and the brothers are still completely obsessed with Shayne. This was a perfect wrap up novella, and only Sheridan Anne can describe a bloody, heinous murder scene, while making it spicy.
