First I must say I received this book in exchange for an honest and true review. This is the second book is the series and picks up right where the first book ends. The first book was great and too many times an author fails to have the second book live up to the first but NOT this time, this second book was just as good as the first. The author is amazing with her ability to bring the characters to life and make you feel like you are in the story. If you read the first book then this one is this one is a must read.

Yes! This book is another one that has you wanting more! S. I. never fails to make a great story. All the characters once again face things that have you pulling for them or have your heart breaking for them at the same time. I won't give spoilers but if you have read the first book you definitely need to read Branded Wings! These books have had me feel like I'm also involved with the characters which I love when a book can pull you in that far. Siegfreid finds love yay! But that's all I will say as not to spoil it for others! But it is another 2 thumbs up from me!

I loved this second book more than the first. I loved seeing all of the characters POVs so that you can get the whole story and see what's going on in their heads. There was a great mix of romance and action going on. I loved seeing Sig, Keegan and Ryane and Gage. There were a couple of twists that I did not see coming but was happy to occur in the story! I was so happy to see Sig get his story and I can't wait until Gage gets his!

"Branded Wings" bu S. I. Hayes

My Speculation:

"Branded Winds" was the third book in the 'Grigori' series. I enjoyed how the author brings the characters to life as each chapter will have a POV of what is going on as we see Siegfried [Sig] Rembrandt finally gets his story. With the characters...Sig, Aella, Keegan, Ryan, Gage, Greisen, and a few more where we find each one is so uniquely different that we will give it all to you from Vamps, dragons, faes, wolf shifters to the Deviant Class.

Be ready for a little bit of it all from 'twists and turns, romance, and excitement' that will keep you turning the pages to see what is coming next with the sense of 'friendship, laughter, and especially the hot sex scenes' that this author delivers so well.

This is the second book of the series and the story of Sig. In this book we learn more about Sig, and find out about another Dragon from the fae who is a vital part of Sig's story.
With the style you have come to know, Hayes takes us on a Romance with lots of hot and heavy sex with plenty of drama and violence.
Cannot wait to read more of the other guardians

After reading the first book of the guardians of grigori by Ms. S.I. Hayes I really couldn’t avoid reading this second book in the series and awaiting the further adventures of vampire prince Keegan his love Ryane and his dragon shifter and friend/guardian Sig. Now at first this book seemed to move a little slower than I would have liked but I think that is the beauty of Ms. Hayes storytelling the book has presence and still moves along pulling the reader into the book. I do think this book could be even read as a standalone even though this book starts where the other one left off but if you wanted to there is enough back story to make you understand the story but I think you would feel the loss of understanding some of the characters idiosyncrasies and their turmoil.
Siegfried “Sig” Rembrandt is on a mission to go back to the Groove Brew the funky coffee shop where he met another girl dragon born just like him since he felt a connection to her. Upon getting there he finds the girl whose name is Aella is in Amsterdam and possibly missed his chance with the beautiful dragon shifter. So while Sig is helping his vampire lord and friend Keegan deal with his newly turned vampire girlfriend/mate Ryane, Sig and the whole deviant class go back to school with a host of new problems including a new girl. The girl Sig has been looking for Aella but things aren’t easy and love could possibly bring them closer or destroy them.
I have liked Sig from the get go and from the very beginning but then again any form of dragons and dragon shifters are just awesome. Sig had this cool vibe going on even though he was attempting to be all big bad especially to Ryane and Keegan because he had to be being a guardian and all. I really just totally respected him because he made mistakes but he really had a lot to deal with so really in a sense I totally wanted to hug him too. Aella I kind of felt disconnected somewhat to her. Sure I was angry with what the Seelie court did but it just seemed a little harsh. I mean eventually I liked her she was actually pretty low key especially considering all the past affairs Sig seemed to have which by the way I really wouldn’t have minded hearing about that especially the relationship between Sig, Greisen and Greisen’s mom. Then again I didn’t really like Ryane in this book either. I still am eager to read the next in the installment however even though I really didn’t want this book to end. I know I wanted more about Marigold/Alewar plus the further adventures of Ryane, Keegan, Sig, Aella and lastly Gage which will be the next book.

☆☆☆☆

In Branded Wings, we find ourselves back at Grigori University, continuing from where Fated Binds left off. This book is more focused on Sig and Aella, but doesn't take away from the craziness going on, now does it leave out the other great characters.

Sig is that big brother, girl's best friend type, that people can't help but love. Even tho he is a fierce Dragonborn, he is still a big softy who loves those who are close to him. And when he loves, he loves fiercly. Never having loved a woman as a mate before, he doesn't realize the things he is feeling for Aella, is more than the type of love he has for Ryane. More than a friend. Way more!

Aella doesn't know the first thing about being a Dragon, even tho she is one herself. A once vibrant and confidant girl, she finds herself confused and unsure. With a lot of lessons to learn and a few secrets to hide, she finds herself drawn to a man for the first time. But finding out who she can and can't trust in the new world she is thrown into, becomes rather hard for her. Does she trust her head or her heart? Even though she doesn't know where each one will lead, she can't follow both paths, so she must decide.

I really enjoyed reading this one.
I loved getting to read more of these characters. Each character is so uniquely different. I can't wait to see what more the author can write about this group. I will definitely be keeping my eyes open for more to come.

Branded Wings (Guardians of Grigori Book 2)
Branded Wings : Guardian of Grigori (Novel) By: S. I. Hayes 4 stars

I got this ARC book copy from the author in exchange for an honest book review and I thought that it was entertaining and enjoyable to read so I gave it 4 stars.

The book continues were the other book left off and each time you get to know the characters more indepth. You get to know each of the characters better and also get to know some new ones as well. The story just keeps getting better each time and there was some twists and turns added to it as well that makes it even more excited and had you wondering and thinking. I thought that the book was worth reading and I enjoyed reading it very much.

Just like in the first book, Fated Binds, SI Hayes gives us a wonderful world of vampires and shifters. We get to see more of Keegan, Ryane, Sig, and Gage. We also get more of the baddies trying to make their lives hell.

This book concentrated on Sig and Aella, the woman/shifter he falls for, but struggles to be with. Tensions are high with the Deviant Class and everyone is trying to figure out what is causing all the issues. Greisen is still out to get Keegan and with Collette's help, he plans on doing just that.

The story pulls you in with its sense of friendship, laughter, and the hot scenes that are never missing in an S.I. Hayes book. Make sure you pick this one up.
