Short story

Normally I don't like short stories.This was a well written story of love and devotion. Can't wait to read the next book.

This book is a great short story. This is Marigold's story after the events of Branded Wings (book 2). When faced with the decision of duty or love, she chooses love throwing her and Alewar (her phoenix guarding) on a path down an ancient road to prove if their love is true. This book contains all the wonderful thing one expects to read from any of Ms. Hayes books. There is adventure, romance, suspense, hot scenes and love. A great next read in the Guardians of Grigori series.

My Speculation:

I enjoyed the short read of 'Faery Road' that featured Marigold's story with her phoenix guardian Alewar that will take on after the incident at Grigori College. To understand what has gone on earlier, you will need to pick up the first thru third series of the 'Guardians of Grigori.' Will these two be able to prove their true love was real? This was another one of this author's 'adventures, romances, suspense, twists and turns, thrillers, and oh yes hot steamy love scenes' that will leave you in awe of it all. What will happen as these two are faced with finding 'Faery Road'? To get it all, you will have to pick up 'Faery Road' to find out how it comes out for these two.

Mary is back with the dark far set to continue her life, but fate holds another card.
Her love for Alewar knows no bounds and they will fight all for that love.
