I won this book thanks to my speak at #NODES24. And it opened my eyes to a brand new field of innovations and knowledge.
Thanks to this book, its practical examples, I saw how important it is to take the time to carefully design and document each asset of an organization that really want to digitalize its activities.

This book helps understand the difference bewteen developing applications and deigning a serious Information System from the core perspective : the object description.

Since that, I take great care to know, search and use already existing schema (https://schema.org/) to describe things. When I get rando input data, I first consider how to attach it to given shemas, transform into this formalism, then inject it on various third party systems.
The resuls are tremendously efficients, even for the most modest piece of data. I even apy thi strategy for my resume, publications, etc... and get tools that parse them in return.

This book is a must read if you want to take the best of any data. I highly recommand this book.
