Someone is watching DI Janine Sheldon. She’s convinced her part in the refugee case has brought her to the attention of The Network. They want to bump her off to shut her up. Never one to shy away and hide, and despite her fears, she intends to bring the organisation down once and for all.
Minion-66 has been tasked with handling Janine. It’s an easy enough job, but when he’s instructed to dispose of four loose ends, time is running out to get to the copper. There’s only a small window of opportunity, and with other factors in his life playing a part, he struggles with his two selves converging.
Becky has had enough. She’s sick of being treated as ‘less than’ because of the colour of her skin—and for carrying a big secret for too many years to count. A poor single parent to boot, she has to make a decision—stay on her current path or forge a new life for herself and her baby son, Noah. She has information The Brothers need to know, and if they pay her for it, life could be golden.
George and Greg Wilkes are stunned by Becky’s revelations and aim to get rid of a gang, the Sparrow Lot. If they’re lucky, they can help bring down The Network at the same time, but first, a few people need to visit the warehouse.
Murder is once again rife on The Cardigan Estate, where the twins want peace but only ever receive aggro. One day, they aim to have a nice, quiet manor, but that day isn’t today…
Author of these series: • DI Tracy Collier • DI Carol Wren • DI Bethany Smith • DI Helena Stratton • The Cardigan Estate • DI Morgan Yeoman • Detective Anna James
Another highly anticipated read and worth the wait. I have loved this series and the character growth in each book. Emmy Ellis is my favourite gangland crime author.
No day for the twins is easy. Each and every day there is someone who needs help, needs talking too or if they are evil, have their last moments at the warehouse. A warehouse that ends lives.
The Network have given the assassin his hit-list The assassin has needs a lesson taught in how to treat girlfriend.
Imagine the girlfriend being left with nothing and having to turn to the twins.
Once the twins are involved, we know what to expect.
The writing machine that is emmy ellis does it again!!!! I love this series. Amongst all the killings, gore and torture, greg and george look after their resident's on the cardigan estate, there is a touch of humour within the book. I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book
