POUND TOWN WITH A BALTIMORE BULLY

Rate this book
It’s cuffin season in Baltimore City and lust is in the air.

Running from the police, Reese, dumps his gun in a trash can of an alley. When he returns to retrieve it, Tiasia gives him a hard time about it – being it’s the same gun her son found and took to school. Reese's bully style might work with everyone else but in Tiasia’s world, she’s the big dawg. A single mother practicing celibacy, she refuses to have her son influenced by the wrong man.

What was supposed to be a quick fling, turns into Tiasia and Reese wrapped together like dynamite. Will these two strong headed individuals get their happily ever after, or will it blow up in their faces?

Tiasia never really changed how she talked to Jovan all the way through. She was still snapping, still going off, even catching an attitude with Reese at times. Then all of a sudden we jump to pregnancy and everybody living together like everything just smoothed itself out. I needed to see that growth, not just assume it happened.

Now Reese? Solid. I really liked him. The way he showed up, stepped in, and naturally moved from uncle to full-on parent was done well.

Overall, solid read. I just wanted more on-page growth to really sell me on how everything came together in the end. (3/5)

Okayyy….Nice Read ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Okay so the book was good but even all the way up until the end she didn’t change the way she talked to Jovan! She even snapped at Reese quite a few times and then boom she’s pregnant and they’re all living together. I guess we can infer that she got better at talking to him and not snapping at Reese for stepping in???…. Idk I would’ve like to see that be addressed a little more but solid read! 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Weekend Read

I liked this book it was fast paced and kept me interested.

This story started off really funny, Reese was running from the police and hid his gun in a neighborhood garbage can. He knew exactly where he put it and when he got released he would go back for it.

Tiasia is a single mother trying to raised her son and keep him off the streets, he seen when Reese put the gun in the garbage and took it to be spiteful. Now Tiasia has the gun and Reese wants it back.

A little confused 😐

I could not Stan Tiasia all that darn being a father instead of being a mother to her son was to much for my liking. Now the confusing part was Tiasia grandma thing one paragraph she was calling her momma the next paragraph she calling her grandma. I also felt like the characters didn’t have any growth

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Reese and Tiasha were too many things at one point. She was the best thing for him and he was the best thing for her. Even though they tried to act all hard like they didn't feel each other. Javon wasn't as bad as I thought he was. Sena's baby daddy better keep his head on a swivel because Reese wants it lol

Good read

I didn't start this series off right. I started with book 3 and just got finished with book 1. I liked the friendship between Reese and Ahsena. He was more of a big brother/protector. I'm glad Tiasia didn't get jealous of their friendship. I also liked how Reese stepped up from being an uncle to a full-time parent. On to book 2...

A real one

This was a great read. Taisia took out some.of her anger at being a single mother inn her sin. She had good intentions but a woman can't raise a big to be a man. She can try but sometimes it can come off.as disrespectful or bullyimg. I'm glad she decided to take his advice and adjust. We have to many angry bits and mens out Hete

loved

I loved Reese you couldn’t help but feel for him. Now Ti’Asia a part of me felt like she had some growing up to do. I understood where she was coming from I did. But at the same time she was dead wrong for the way she was treating her son.

A must-read

I loved this read. It stays with the drama from beginning till the end. Reese is a character. I appreciate his dedication and the way he went from one extreme to the next. Tiasia, let's just say she grew on me with her tough yapping self.

First of all the fmc was more concerned abt sex than what was happening with her son? she was a whole bully to her son and had the nerve to be supportive of someone else’s child, this made the whole book a no for me

Enemies to Lovers

Tiasia was a single mom trying to raise her teenage son and Reese became a single dad over night, after gaining full time custody of his niece. Reese tried to bully his way into Tiasia’s life, until she showed him she was just as mean & rude as he is.

Great read

I love when they’re semi enemies and turn to lovers. I also loved the fact that Reese corrected her for the better of her relationship with her son. HEA🫶🏽
