I am making my way through this wonderful new book. Here is an excellent guide to the technology of Procreate presented in a clear, fun and approachable way. I started in the use of this Program from absolute zero. I took Nicki Fitzgerald’s online tutorials and due to her style was able to build the confidence to move forward creatively and to shed the notion that I was too old even to try. This book unfolds in the same clear, patient , step by step style with understandable illustrations and examples. She has also included articles from other digital artists.
The book includes links to the authors online resources usable for completion of the projects in the book, and these also provide an example of how to organize work flow effectively.
I highly recommend this book for all skill levels.

I highly recommend this book. After reading the Kindle sample I had pre-ordered the print copy of the book, then I joined the author’s Facebook group - iPhoneographyCentral - Mobile Art & Photography - I was so impressed and inspired with the artwork I saw in the group (some of it based on exercises in the book) that I immediately got the full Kindle version as I didn’t want to wait for the print book! I’m loving working through the book, learning loads and having so much fun. Warning - may cause digital art addiction!

As a former art teacher I have an appreciation for the way these lessons are organized and illustrated. This book is such a joy to explore. The colorful pages and engaging text invite me to spend hours perusing the lessons and inspire me to try new ideas for my own work. As a dedicated procreate user myself I find there are so many more tips here for using this app that I had not yet explored. Nicki is a wonderful teacher. If you are interested in creating digital collage using procreate this is the one book you must have!

Such an incredible resource and value for money!

I have purchased more books than I care to think about but this is by far, one of THE best. Very easy-to-understand instructions on how to use the app, brushes & color swatches, create your own brushes [something I ordinarily would not have dared to attempt!], a preview of some Procreate brush effects, along with interesting projects utilizing advanced techniques [in bite-sized ways because videos sometimes skip small steps. I have seen these artistic effects on Photoshop for years and have just watched enviously from the sidelines, this book is a game-changer for the absolute beginner. Highly recommend.

I’m not finished yet, but wanted to give a review before I forget. You won’t be disappointed in your purchase. This book is a wealth of knowledge! Nicki does a fabulous job in showing many different techniques and tools in Procreate. She explains many basics of illustration and color theory and also there are many different exercises to practice what is taught. I bought both the digital version and physical book and am happy with my purchase. On top of the richness of the content, the physical book is gorgeous! In fact, I delayed opening it, it was so nice. (I have now). There is also a Facebook group you can join to practice what you are learning and the members are very helpful.
