I enjoyed Bill & Pam's writing style, and the fun suggestions they offered. Some of the turns-of-phrase they used in reference to intimacy and to their love of their spouse were valuable in my own marriage throughout the 26 days I studied this book. It is arranged into one concept for each letter of the alphabet, so I was able to finish it in less than a month by focusing on one quality a day. However, many of their suggestions don't work well in a family with kids of varying ages in the home. With multiple married adult kids, a couple in college, and teen drivers still in the home, we never know when someone will walk through the front door, even if we have it locked. Additionally, the teens and young adults are up later than we are at night, and the lower elementary get up early in the morning. This means that many of their suggestions work only in a home with young children who don't drive themselves (can't show up unexpectedly while you're cooking naked!), or in an empty nest after you've changed the locks and taken all your adult children's keys!

3.5 Some stuff seemed almost sexist, maybe just out of date or something. But there were some REALLY great tips and ideas!
