I never expected to be something in this world, the one where the Soufala gang and its leader made the rules, but Draven knew things I didn’t.

2⭐️ Barely any plot, no chemistry, and the MCs had no personality. The possessiveness, dirty talk, and claiming were watered down. Had the author really committed and amped up the dirty talk or dub-con or something, maybe I would have been on board.

I known this book is a Novella and of course is super short but still lacked any real depth to me. It wasn't bad but the fact it was dark mafia but the Mafia boss was kinda soft took away from the supposed "Dark" aspect of the story. It just didn't hit the mark for me. I have given 3 stars because it is a novella and I know it can be hard to cram a lot into a short story and maybe I am expecting too much.

I absolutely loved this one. The only thing that could make it better is if Soren and Brohm had their friendship flushed out a little more. It was great-it started out with Soren claiming a place in life as his best friend, and that statement kept being repeated, and reluctant to accept it at first, by the end Brohm accepted it. But....we didn't get to see much of it past moments of Soren getting Brohm ready and moments like, his brand containing a billy ball (which id never heard of in my life! Lol) but those moments? We're all so quick. And we never got to explore more of who Soren is and his relationship with the other mc, Draven either. And that made me sad. I would like to see both the Soren/Brohm friendship and Soren himself flushed out a little more. Too bad this is a standalone, bc Soren sounds like a hoot :/

With Brohm as he experienced darker and yet sweeter conflicting sides of his betrothed. Mine to Hold is a short novella, MM, Mafia, Forced Proximity, Dark and Spicy Romance.
I really enjoyed this story. This is my first read from Sullyn Shaw and most definitely will not be my last. I enjoyed the suspenseful, yet light writing style. I become more and more invested in the story with each page turn. The character's have depth and plenty of individual personality regardless of this being a very quick read.
I highly recommend this quick read to anyone that enjoys a quick, dark and spicy MM Romance!

Brohm is the youngest in his clan. He is a slight man who is being used as a bargaining tool by his father. His father is marrying him off to Draven. Draven is head of a Mafia clan; he is huge! Brohm will suffer many indignities at his hands; but he will be well protected. He will have to learn his new role quickly! He is gaining pain and pleasure. His freedom is still stifled, but he will have many luxuries. Read the twisted story of Brohm and Draven, but also understand the beauty of it!

This is a quick, dark, smutty, MM, forced marriage, mafia story and I loved it but I won’t say too much as I don’t want to ruin it for others. Although it was a short story it did not feel rushed and was not lacking in spice, connection with the characters or storyline, and I would actually love to read more from this world/characters again. With any dark romance please check your TW/CW before reading.

This is a MM story, so if that's not your thing, might want to skip and try one of the other stories in this collection. It wasn't a super long read, I was able to finish it in maybe 90 minutes or so. It is a mafia related story, so also a note to keep in mind. I really enjoyed the elements of taking your story back, and seeing some get what was going to them. I won't say too much, but this was one that really grabbed you and you wanted to see how it ended.

This was a quick, dark, MM, spicy, mafia novella. It takes place over just a few days starting from when Brohm is forced by his family to become the bride of mafia leader, Draven, to when they are married a few days later. Despite the short time frame, this felt like a non-rushed, complete story, though I would love to see what happens to them in the future. I love that I kept feeling surprised as the way their relationship developed did not go in the directions I kept anticipating.

I quite enjoyed it. I wish it was a little longer (both in length and time lapse), and a little bit darker (because it lightened up a lot as the end neared).
And while I think it’s great that CWs are included, I wish they were actually in the book, versus requiring the reading to go the author’s website, navigate to another page, and scroll through all the books to find out the 3 CWs for this book.

I enjoyed this novella. The ending came as a surprise to me as I thought it would end differently, but I still enjoyed it.

Quick hot read.
This was a quick yet satisfying read. I loved how Draven is so very possessive of Brohm from the beginning making promises and keeping them. The dynamics are so good and it made me wish it was longer. I hope we see more in this world especially with Soren.
If you want a quick read that has a couple of hot scenes, this is your book.

I had the amazing opportunity to read this as an ARC and it was hot hot hot! That's the only word I can use to describe this amazing story. Brohm and Draven were perfect for each other. And Soren, I loved him as well.

This was a short read but very enjoyable. Brohm has been gifted to Draven as his bride but Draven's reputation is as a very tough man but as leader of the Soufala gang he needs to be. Will Brohm be what Draven needs or will Draven's toughness turn Brohn off?

This short novella was hot. As I state with all my reviews for Sullyn please check TW before reading. I absolutely love Draven and Brohm. Their relationship is unconventional which is the best kind. I don’t want to say too much because it may ruin this amazing story for you.

Mine to Hold by Sullyn Shaw scratched my itch for an arranged/Forced marriage trope. I loved how dark it was. I actually wanted to read it in Draven's point of view because I wanted to see how Brohm was chosen and stalked, my other favorite trope.

This is an MM romance following Draven and Brohm. I found this to be such a unique take on arranged marriage and mafia trope. It does contain some darker themes and had several twists and gives a full story.

I did have a harder time getting into this one as it is MM which isn't my favorite genre, but I do love Sullyn Shaw's writing. She did a great job on this one and if MM is a genre you love, then it is worth the read.

Finally a MM Mafia story! Love a ruthless Mafia leader who has hidden soft moments for their partner.
This Novella was the events leading up to Draven and Brohm's wedding and the moments after. It was very enjoyable!

I have to agree with other reviews. There was no chemistry and barely any real dialogue. I felt that the wedding vows were the most we ever got from them. I gave it 2 stars because at least the author is great at the spice.
