About the author

The love of reading and writing dug their roots deep into my heart at a young age. Years of nightmares and sleep paralysis led to many late nights, staying up to avoid the horrors that emerged during a good night's sleep while diving into one novel after another. The most memorable ranged from the stories of J.R.R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis and D.J. MacHale to Shel Silverstein and countless classics. A passion for reading turned to writing as I found peace in journaling my dreams. As I journeyed on in life, I received a Bachelor's in Business Administration and spent years navigating the corporate world, only using writing for company policies and communications. Now God has led me back to my passion for creative writing, igniting the desire to experience another tale.
