"Maybe as we face many challenges ahead if we go through them together we can become even more like a family than we are now. Although I'm sure there will be sad times at least we won't be alone. They'll be proof of what the two of us shared."

Another great volume in this series!

I appreciate how this volume explored our leads "investigating" if maybe their parents HAVE known about their secret relationship all this time. The reason I appreciated this is because it actually gives credit to the parents that they aren't clueless about what's going on. A few volumes ago there was a scene with Nanami's mom and how she noticed something "different" between the two. (Also I think there was a scene with her and her sister talking about it too.) Now though, we're seeing that Kyouhei's dad knows and probably HAS known.

Nothing is confirmed of course because no one has said anything, but Nanami is having serious anxiety and I confess I felt a little bad for her. I also related in not wanting to lose the normal routine for a new routine that seems like it's going to be a lot harder. It was definitely a reason I loved the opening quote because Nanami really doesn't choose to take the easy path. Even with her struggling in this volume, in the end, she always does what she feels is best for her and Kyouhei. (I also totally agree that good thing he is a reliable guy to help things not be QUITE as stressful! LOL!)

The ending of course left on a cliffhanger and VERY curious about what's going to happen next, especially considering the family vacation that just took place. I thought it was a nice little trip with them going to the hot springs, wearing yukata, and even our leads getting into an argument. LOL! Truly glad that even if they fight, they are quick to make up and communicate their feelings again. <3

While I don't think a lot happened in this volume, it was still an enjoyable one nonetheless and I can't wait to read more!

By some miracle, everything works out with their teacher, though Nanami may have some more misconceptions floating around school as a result of her delay tactics. This kid neighbor seems to actually mean well and just be a very lonely little boy, though that may not help much now that the cat is out of the bag so to speak. Guess it's a good thing they had already decided to tell their parents after the family vacation, though that certainly wasn't how given they'd yet to form any plans and Nanami was still panicking about it all. Kyouhei seems the most unconcerned and okay with everything, though it's hard to tell if he's really okay with it all or just keeping it inside so he can be strong for Nanami and calm her fears.
