Touya is imprisoned in another country by an imposter pope. The imposter doesn't like the real pope's stance on how the country was founded. Touya pretends to be a god and helps out. Now the real pope is in Touya's debt.
Back in the Brunhild Kingdom, Touya expands the military and learns how to fly. He can't allow everyone to fly, but he can levitate people and carry them along.
Touya is getting the blessings of his wives' families. He finally gets to talk to Ende again. There's an exposition dump.
