When caterer Aija Write decides to throw herself a pity party, she had no idea of how life-altering it would be. When Terrence Rhodes invites her to join him at his table, he merely saw a beautiful distraction who could occupy his time for a little while.
Neither expected a connection that would linger long after they parted ways.
When Terrence is thrust back into her life, Aija forces herself to fight temptation and remain devoted to her husband, Lewis, despite his past discretions. Will she give in to temptation or will she continue to honor the vow she took even if it could cost her everything?
This story pissed me off, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Aija made me want to yell at her for 70% of the book, but once she got her backbone, she stood on business. That darn Lewis thought that Aija was gonna stick around no matter how much he cheated. She proved him wrong. I was singing when a woman's fed up when she finally reached her breaking point. As always, the man didn't want to let go. Lewis acted a fool when he realized she was walking away for good. Tee was everything Aija needed. I loved how he was patient and loving with her from the beginning. Tee, along with Aija's best friend Isis, made sure Aija was protected from Lewis's foolishness. This book had me pulled in from beginning to end. I can't wait to read more from this author.
Aija is a woman that honors her vows, even when her husband didn't. She finds herself feeling defeated and fed up. A charming stranger comes into her life and though their encounter was brief, she can't seem to shake his connection.
A series of coincidence cause them to cross paths once more, this time, neither of them want to let go.
Lewis, her self centered husband proves to not be able to take what he's dished out for so long.
This story takes you on a Rollercoaster ride of emotions. It will surprise you, frustrate you, make you laugh and some may cry.
This story captured my attention from the first paragraph. I couldn't put it down, and I'm not complaining about it. It was a roller coaster ride of drama and emotions, and I enjoyed every second of it. I'm so glad that Aija got her happy ending and the man she deserved!! Well done Olivia Wallace!
Two wrongs don't make a right but in this case I was rooting for Aija all the way. The author did an excellent job of detailing all the nuances of this one-sided marriage. What a jerk the husband was - he didn't want a wife, he wanted a mother. And I'm glad Aija got tired of filling that role.
Everything doesn't need a sequel, but I'd love to see one.. hint, hint!! LOL I really enjoyed it! There's so much I want to say but won't. It was truly good with very few errors, which I might add is a plus for me. Thank you for giving Aija what every person needs, REAL HONEST LOVE!
That was a ride, especially the ending! Glad to see Aija and Tee together, both of them deserved one another. Now that Lewis though…if nothing else, he definitely had the audacity.😒
Great job Olivia! Looking forward to more good reads!
