I’ve always known my fated mate is special, but now the world knows the truth about Liza, she’s more at risk than ever.
There hasn’t been another wolf like her for centuries, and the public scrutiny directed her way is setting my wolf on edge. When a bounty is put on her head, my protective instincts go into overdrive.
No one—and I mean no one—is going to touch my mate. Now I'm suspicious of everyone including an old rival who claims Liza’s parents have more secrets than she realizes, and a mysterious buyer who approaches me about a business deal.
But Liza is struggling so much with the changes she’s going through that if I don’t find a way to help her control her powers soon, her biggest threat may not be our enemies. It could be herself…

I am kind of at a loss for words. I am not really enjoying the story. There is literally TOO much going on and it's ridiculous. The MC's suck. It's like they have no power. Yet as alpha and being rich as fuck - he can't get shit done. People are betraying them, thousands showing up to try and see Liza, she has some alpha shit going on and she keeps losing control (i'm already sick of her, how Ty isn't I will never know), someone is trying to sell her, attempted kidnapping, she has a brother who is after her, Castro is still after her (literally NOTHING has come from this either), the drugs in the warehouse, actual kidnapping and the almost death of her mom (like wtf), nothing is getting resolved and more shit keeps getting tacked on. It's draining to read and it's too much. Also, WE NEVER found out wtf was in that envelope. You know the one. The one she found when her office was broken into and they decided to open it the next day, but then shit just kept happening and anytime she tried to open it, some thing else more important came up. So literally, the envelope was NEVER opened. I really want to know wtf was in it lmao.
Alas, I am in the last book and there is still no mention. It was forgotten. Some of their interactions are cheesy too. IDK like Ty was talking to himself out loud and I'm like 'wtf is this dude gonna do?' dude can't do shit right. He hides shit from his mate, his mate is a sorry piece of crap with anger issues.. the smut is meh.
I just feel like the story is all just down hill. There really wasn't anything to make me want to continue reading, aside from wanting to know what is in that envelope. I have loved Roxie's other books and I thought this series would be good. It sounded so good when I first came across it. But so far, I'm not enjoying it.

I’m sure this book was meant to be spellbinding, but it’s the total opposite. The first book was full of repetitious musings, intrigues dragged out even when it was already obvious. In fact the first book was too long. The 2nd book was just full of stupid people making stupid decisions for no justifiable reasons. It’s now dragged into the 3rd book?
If you haven’t started, please save your mental health by staying that way.
How can these people be this dense and stupid? Genuinely dont see how Ty and Liza are getting nowhere and making no progress on anything. Ty is super rich with supposedly all these people at his disposal. Yet, he cant get anything done. He sucks. Liza is getting on my damn nerves. And what is happening is so ridiculous I dont even want to continue the series. To top it all off, these two characters cant even communicate properly. Its 3 books now and not one proper conversation between the two of them. Im so over it. Im going to book 4 just because I want to be done with this series.
This is the second book in a series that needs to be read in order - similar to the first book this one ends in a cliff hanger as well so make sure you want to commit.
6 Wows ~ I am out of breath &every muscle in Mrs is tight as a drum.
I am at the ending of book 2. I am NOT going to tell you anything either. Just wow. The massive struggles continue in book 2, unless you did not read book 1. What a shame. The alpha and his mate are in over their heads. I wish I knew if they will be happy. I need to hurry on so I can read book 3. Roxie Ray, your mind is astounding. This id my first time reading you series. I dearly love it. Well done. Well done.
This book really keeps you on edge. One thing after the other and just as things are finally picking up .... It ends. Dang it!! I cannot wait for book 3 to be released. Normally I lose interest in a series when I have to wait for months at a time to read the next book... But this series keeps me coming back for more. I literally put the release dates into my calendar. April cannot come quick enough!!
Liza and Ty just CANNOT catch a break! This fated couple seem destined to a non-stop treadmill of secrets, deceit, betrayal, danger, chaos...whew! Ty is standing strong as an Alpha while Liza seems to be spiraling and constantly ready to either blame or discard her poor mate. This is an action-packed adventure leavened with a bit of smexy time, and I'm here for it! This reader is eager for the next thrilling installment!
I did not really enjoy this second book after I was riveted to the first one I found too much going on in this one and sometimes it got confusing. I understand the story needs to be told but too much focused on Lisa's dreams then that seemed to be forgotten towards the end. Let's see what book 3 is like.
It was okay, getting slower now and the build is killing me. Why don’t the alpha just take Liza on vacation? Seems like she needs it, plus a full meal. So many unanswered questions, that we hope to gain in the next book. There was one spicy scene that was my favorite though.
It just seems to be one problem after another for this poor pair. Ty's devotion to Liza shines through & the stress he's under to keep his mate safe whilst also getting to grips with his new role as Alpha of the pack as well as his own business issues would break a lesser man. Liza must learn to navigate her new found powers & to trust her mate.
I enjoyed this book since it wasn't so "sparkly" like many werewolf books are, and there was more plot than many of them--almost too many plot threads. A little too many sex scenes, after a while I just skipped over them.
It felt like there should be another book featuring Liam, or Sabrina, those folks were just kind of left hanging. I don't like loose ends in my books!
this is one of the worst book I have ever read. I thought that the second half of the first book was bad but I could not imagine that it can be way worse. It was chaotic, there were so many problems they were dealing with and nothing was solve and at the same time it was sooo boring. I had to force myself to finish this book and it was everything but pleasant reading.
I loved the first book. However was sorely disappointed the author skipped over the mating and the wedding they had been leading up to and then it was almost like the same thing over and over until the end. Very disappointing sequel.
The plot of these books are very interesting but too many twist and turns. I want to see how this story ends I will not recommen this series The reason is too many twists not enough resalotions. At times it losses me I hope next book ties it all together. SMH
I literally couldn't put this book down, Liza and Ty's second book is a whirlwind of emotions and now I need to know how it ends with the cliffhanger of an ending of Liza struggling to reign in newly found alpha powers.
Liza is struggling with her powers. Her anger brings out her strength but it’s uncontrollable. There are multiple villains and obstacles facing Tyson stretching his focus and attention. The story builds it’s suspense.
This is the second book in the series and I have enjoyed both the 1st and second book but I will not read them again So kind of wishing I hadn't bought them. I did however as I said enjoy them So they're worth reading just don't buy them.
i love the plot of this series more than most of the shifter romances out there. however. the sex scenes feel a bit too much believe it or not. they feel like they were forced into a great mystery novel just for the sake of calling it a romance. i’m actually skipping over those parts just to read the books!! can’t wait to start book 3
From simple life to surrounded by chaos. As a small business owner to alpha mate the main character has been consistently pushed into scenarios that would test anyone. I can't wait to see what happens next.
I have read all three books in this series! I loved them. Excellent writing! Loved the characters, the plot, everything! If you love his genre like I do read them! I totally disagree with the bad reviews I read! I highly recommend this book—the series!
This story was exciting, entertaining and just WOW!!!. But I have to say this they Have got to get rid of C and quickly!. He is destroying them and there reign!!. It needs to end now before its too late. Roxie is a PHENOMENAL storyteller and writer😋.
I had to make myself finish this book while the storyline was not bad. It just seemed to drag on also, the main female character started to really get on my nerves, and I don't think there's a reason this needed to be this many books. Honestly, I will not go on to the third one.
This collection proves to be excellent reading & never boring, the cause for many a sleepless night. Not going to spoil the story in any way, if you want to know…..read the collection.
This series keeps you wanting to continue reading because of all of the twist and turns. I have so enjoyed this book I can't wait to see how it ends with book 3.
