Shaw y Ellaiza tienen características y motivaciones únicas que los hacen sentir auténticos. A medida que avanzaba en la historia, me sentí conectada con ellos y sintiendo empatía por los desafíos que enfrentaban. La evolución de su relación es lenta y está bien construida. I've wanted to read Adriana Brinne since she debuted, unfortunately I couldn't BUT I'm so happy that Sweet Madness was my first book by Adri because it's one of the sweetest and most tender love stories I've read this year, I fell so hard in love with the place where the story takes place, with Ella & Shaw, their personal stories, and everything the author did with this beautiful book.
Ella is a charmingly sweet girl, daughter of the former president and with a VERY famous family that she loves and in which love her unconditionally, one of the things I loved most about her story and that also takes a very interesting turn at several moments in the book. She's a very peculiar character: a lover of the color pink, chocolate cupcakes with pink frosting, stars, the universe, and making her family happy, BUT it's that last part of her personality that has led her to lose herself a little in order to feel part of her family, something that broke my heart, but that the author handled super well in the plot and made me love them all a little more.
Shaw is the new love of my life! A man who was in Ella's life several years ago and who is completely different from what she remembered: Shaw is broken by life, by the tragedies of his past and the unexpected abandonment he suffered from the only person he loved in his life, he's a truly grumpy cowboy, and I love that, not so deep down, he's a man almost as sweet as Ella.
This is one of the most beautiful love stories I have read this year! I really liked the path that Adriana gave to Shaw & Ella, that they both showed themselves vulnerable with each other and that strengthened the bond that already existed between them. I also loved the flashbacks throughout the story because they contributed a lot to the plot, they helped me understand the past of these two and the relationship they were building, but I think my favorite moments were those in which Ella saw that Shaw from the past and in which he realized what he really felt for her. And I loved the ending too, all the information, the author gave us about the future of this couple made me so happy!

Quería leer a Adriana Brinne desde que debutó, desafortunadamente no pude hacerlo, PERO estoy muy feliz de que Sweet Madness haya sido mi primer libro de Adri porque es una de las historias de amor más dulces y tiernas que he leído este año, me enamoré muchísimo del lugar en el que se desarrolla la historia, de Ella & Shaw, sus historias personales y todo lo que la autora hizo con este libro tan bonito.
Ella es una chica encantadoramente dulce, hija del ex presidente y con una familia MUY famosa a la que ama y en la que la aman incondicionalmente, una de las cosas que más amé de su historia y que también da un giro muy interesante en varios momentos del libro. Ella es un personaje muy peculiar: amante del color rosa, de los cupcakes de chocolate con frosting rosa, de las estrellas, el universo y de hacer feliz a su familia, PERO es esa última parte de su personalidad la que la he llevado a perderse un poco para poder sentirse parte de su familia, algo que me rompió el corazón, pero que la autora manejó super bien en la trama y me hizo amarlos a todos un poco más.
Shaw es el nuevo amor de mi vida! Un hombre que estuvo en la vida de Ella hace varios años y que es completamente diferente a lo que ella recordaba: Shaw está roto por la vida, por las tragedias de su pasado y el abandono inesperado que sufrió de la única persona que amo en su vida, es un cowboy verdaderamente gruñón, y me encanta que, no tan en el fondo, sea un hombre casi tan dulce como Ella.
Esta es una de las historias de amor más bonitas que he leído este año! Me gustó muchísimo el camino que Adriana le dio a Shaw & Ella, que ambos se mostraran vulnerables con el otro y eso fortaleciera mucho más el vinculo que ya existía entre ambos. Amé también los flashbacks a lo largo de la historia porque aportaban mucho a la trama, me ayudaron a comprender el pasado de estos dos y la relación que estaban construyendo, pero creo que mis momentos favoritos fueron esos en los que Ella veía a ese Shaw del pasado y en los que él se daba cuenta de lo que sentía realmente por ella, además, me encantó el final, toda la información que la autora nos dio sobre el futuro de esta pareja me hizo muy feliz!

He lives on a remote ranch in Montana and when he takes the job to protect Ella, he knows he's absolutely done for when he sees her get out of the car 😏🤭 He's tall, rugged, tanned, has dreamy brown eyes, blonde hair and absolute masculine beauty 😫😫🔥Not to forget he's a literal cowboy 😎 You know the saying.... wear the hat, ride the cowboy 😈

When she moves to Montana, she is reunited with her old bodyguard, Shaw Banning. Shaw is the one who will be in charge of watching over her safety. What they both didn't expect was that this situation led them to become closer than ever. What will happen to this connection between them?
🧁Adrianna Brinne did a great job with this book. Having multiple points of view gave me a better understanding of the history of both characters. Even getting to know a bit about the parents (which have their own books, but I haven't read yet 🤭). Ellaiza and Shaw touched my heart with their beautiful love story. Even though it was a soft romance, Shaw showed his possessive side towards her and fought to have her back in his life. Seeing how they both recovered their shine together proves to us that when we meet our soul mate everything around us starts to become bright and colorful. ❤️🩷👑

I think sugar has been poured into this story. Ella’s bright sunshine personality and her love for astronomy drew me in.

Forced to take refuge in a small town, Ella finally met him again. Shaw Banning. The man who had once been in her life is now back again as her bodyguard.
I loved seeing Ella find her true self again. She’s really the personification of pink and I totally love it!

Overhyped slow burn. Release date kept being pushed so I thought this must be good. But It was not for me. Couldn’t get into but finished, some parts were cute but there was no wow factor.

This book was sweet and at parts it was heart breaking. I enjoyed watching Ella pull Shaw out of his grumpiness. I always enjoy the notes before each chapter and the ones from Shaw were just perfect.
