To accommodate one’s needs in a gray world, peace must be made with the black and white. With trials of love vs hate, gold vs silver, and orange juice vs toothpaste, all these things are found to be the same; they want to be recognized for what they are. In a black and white world, these opposites exist to create a balance. So what happens when black and white exists in one being? The mixture of the colors causes a disruption, a colorful enigma. In this gray area, one must battle face to face with their doubts, imperfections, and their insecurities; their mind tells them to go but their heart, their intuition tells them to stop. The gray area is a sand pit pulling them in one direction while they pull themselves in the other. In order to find the space between the two impossibles, one must define the space in which they leave for themselves.
Exposure defines this space, the gray area between the two lost destinations; the constant battle between getting out of bed for work and getting in bed after a manic day. Exposure is about finding the middle ground between your diagnosis and dealing with life’s happenings. Exposure is the elbow grease, the spit shine and the corrupted calamity before the calm. In order to live in a black and white world, one hopes to bring a little color in not only their world, but the world of others around them.
