Simply riveting read, terrific start to this series of books I recommend this great read

This was a wonderful read I loved the two main characters and am sure that you will feel the same about this read as myself. It is fast paced with a great and very clever hacker that is in a hi stake affair and Mia and Carter are a couple that have had an on off relationship and their feelings have never been extinguished completely.

Carter a seasonal and enigmatic undercover operative known for his impeccable skills, and Mia Kelly is a brilliant and reclusive hacker with a very shadowed past. He joins teams with Mia Kelly who is a brilliant hacker with a mysterious past. The are trying to dismantle a sinister network and the duty and desire will test their love and feelings as they battle for truth and justice.

I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

TOGETHER AGAIN

The story is a novella and will bring Carter Hall and Mia Kelly back together. According to Fletch of Silver Arrow Security, Carter has gone dark, and he is concerned. But it will be Claire who helps convince Mia to get involved.

“Urgent! We need you. I wouldn’t contact you unless it was absolutely necessary. Carter’s gone dark, and we haven’t heard from him in over a week. Please contact me.”

The story is mystery, suspense, and danger. Carter, aka Casey Thompson, has been undercover working at Prometheus. What a shock when he is called into the boss’s office, and there stands Mia, aka Kellan Caulfield. Together, they work in the same cubicle—but the history between these two can’t be denied.

The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly of people. It is also a second chance romance for Carter and Mia.

I enjoyed Carter and Mia's book. Mia has done a powder and disappeared on Carter. She has been successfully hiding out in Ireland for the last two years, but can't turn her back when Carter's boss, and her best friend's husband, asks her to go undercover to adjust Carter on a hacking job. But does he really need her help or is Fletch just trying to share the marital bliss and appease his wife?

Loved dropping back in on these characters and finding out what happened with Mia and Carter. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

I’m loving short reads at the moment and Charade was a cute read.
Fast moving and quick to the point.
Mia is running and hiding from Carter after she left him for being moving too fast.
Carter is looking for Mia because he loves her and wants to make it work.
Carter isn’t a bad guy but he is intense and head over heels in love with Mia.
Mia loves Carter but her history has everyone she loves abandon/leave her so she does it first to Carter to protect herself.
They are pulled back together when taking down Irish mafia bosses and the book heats up ❤️🔥

I loved reading this book. The characters are well done. I loved both Mia and Carter and I was delighted that they got their own story. I enjoyed their interactions. There are plenty of different elements that will hold the readers interest. There are some hot sexy scenes and mystery elements. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I recommend it. This story is an enjoyable treat to read.
