Jesse is a major trouble maker at school. Girls have complained about him and he's very close to being expelled. His behavior, though, is defiant. His father, by the way, is in prison.
His mother and grandmother show up at the school. The grandmother says she's found an attitude adjustment program for boys like Jesse and she's going to put it into action.
This involves listening to CDs while asleep, their purpose to soften and feminize him. He's also given female hormone pills. His body hair is gotten rid of.
Jason is a friend of his. Jesse's body starts to change although, due to the CDs, he is downplaying the changes or explaining them away.
Here's one thing not dealt with. As Jesse's body and behavior start to change it would seem logical that he would be subject to major bullying at school yet this is not brought up at all.
Ashely is a supportive girl he knows and they go to the mall together. By this time Jesse is wearing female clothes full time.
The story continues in three more volumes in the series.
It's a radical solution to Jesse's problems and one he's not privy to at all. The question arises at what point is something like this an acceptable change in order to control bad behavior especially without the subject (Jesse) agreeing or even knowing just what is happening.
