Hawk
I’ve always been the protector
To my MC brothers
To my Prez
My club
And then there’s her
Jas is the kind of woman who was made to drive me insane
She hates me, but our paths still cross
She thinks she has the upper hand
But she doesn’t really know me, not really
She has no idea the depths I will go to to keep her safe
Or what I will give up to make her mine
She can fight it, but I can’t let it go
I never will
He thinks he has the upper hand
He thinks because he’s a biker he can boss me around
Well, I’ve got news for him
And it’s all bad
Hawk may be larger than life in every way

But I never expected him to be the rock that I needed
When life turned upside down we were forced together

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Trope: second chance, enemies to lovers Angst: 😱😱😱 Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Knew this one was going to be fiery! All Hawk wants is a second chance with Jas after his big screw up, but she's not going to go quietly or forgive easily. Heavy on the relationship drama and a decent grovel, the story moves quickly with some (kinda) surprising twists.
Hawk is the 3rd book to The NOLA Rebels MC series.
I am so happy for Jas and Hawk’s story. I really love them together. Hawk is so sweet and falls hard for Jas where she is trying hard to keep her guard up after getting hurt by her ex. But Hawk doesn’t give up, they have this connection and the chemistry between the two is so hot.
After an unexpected tragedy occurs leaving Jas devastated it brings them closer together and I just love how Hawk is so caring and wants to take care of her. The twist at the end was surprising and I loved how it all planned out. I really enjoyed this book.
What I can say for sure is the readers will be happy to see the story of Hawk and Jas. These two are standouts in the first two books and to see their romance play out was incredible.
The backstory is so juicy on these two and my heart burst as they enter a haters with benefits arrangement. You’ll need a fan for these scenes. Lol. But curveball thrown in and they enter uncharted territory. You’ll love it I promise.
The steam is top level and Hawk will have you wanting to either smack him or kiss him - just depends on what part of the book you’re in. Jas is great but at times you’ll want to shake her - more in the later half.
* I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
FINALLY!!! We get Jas and Hawk’s book! I’ve been waiting for this one since Cash. I really wanted to choke Hawk at the beginning, he just didn’t get it. He messed up, he knew it, but he went above and beyond to prove himself to Jas. He was so sincere about his feelings for Jas, and I absolutely loved how good of a man he was. He refused to do anything with Jas when she was drunk, his respect for women was so good to see. I really enjoyed that. Her and Hawk had explosive chemistry, I mean off the damn charts HOT! The spicy scenes were literally panty melting. When Hawk first met Ella in the hospital and they were talking about eye color, I had a little voice whisper in the back of head, and I was like “no”!! Things were finally clicking into place for Hawk and Jas and I didn’t want any unexpected bombs. I also wasn’t sure how Jas would react if what I was suspecting was true. It totally surprised me and it didn’t when she reacted the way she did. I give her so much credit for that. This was another phenomenal book by Mackenzy! I started out really wanting to knock sense into Hawk, but I’m walking away absolutely loving this man! I can’t wait for more from this series.
Hawk and Jasmyn’s story has been building since book one of the series and I was excited to finally get to know them both better! Hawk screwed up big time while he and Jas were building a relationship and he has to put in some *effort* to get a second chance. We love a man who grovels. Hawk never gave up while Jas struggled with her trust issues. I love how they fought and often acted like they hated each other but their chemistry kept pulling them towards each other. After Jas suffers an unexpected family tragedy, Hawk becomes such a supportive, protective partner and it was so great to read. I did see the little plot twist towards the end coming but still enjoyed it! This was a cute, fast-paced, enemies to lovers - perfect for fans of MC romances.
Thanks so much to Mackenzy Fox and The Author Agency for the opportunity to review.
I was so excited for Hawk & Jas’s story. The banter and tension we got from them in previous books was always so good, and I couldn’t wait for more of it. Hawk has had it bad for Jas, but after one bad night things took a bit of a hard turn. Jas has been punishing Hawk since his mess up and never lets him forget. Their feelings are so very evident, as fhey forever spar back and fourth. Hawk groveling tho? On his knees? We love to see it! It was nice to get more of his back story as well and see how he really is, as well as why Jas is so defensive too. As things start to change with them for the better, tragedy strikes. A few twists, I didn’t see coming, but once again, I couldn’t put this one down!
Yes!!!! This was amazing!!! To get Hawk and Jas. I love her fire and how he goes from grumpy to cuddly with her! Love the MC family and how protective Cash is. I also like that for once I could put some pieces together before they are written!!!
If you love a good motorcycle club book this is your go to!

I didn’t expect the twist and turns of this book. This was an enemies to lovers with a lot of angst and two strong leading characters. It was an emotional story packed with spice. I enjoyed reading this MC series and can’t wait for the other characters, they were funny to read. Hawk and Jas were amazing. If you like MC romances with “touch her and die”, then this is your book. Happy reading!!!
Thank you Mackenzy fox and the author agency for this ARC

The next instalment in the NOLA Rebels MC club is Hawk and Jasmyn.
We’ve seen a lot of them in the previous two books as Jas is Cash’s account and all around boss bitch when it comes to keeping the club finances running smoothly. She doesn’t let the brothers boss her around or treat he as less than. She knows what she deserves, and she made that clear from the moment she started with the club.
Hawk on the other hand has been pinning for and fighting with her since the moment he met her. He wanted her on first sight, and he was so close to having her and one night messed it all up. Since then, Jas has not given Hawk the time of day or let up on him. Hawk keeps pushing and butting heads and even apologising but he just never gets through.
While the club drama doesn’t affect their budding relationship their biggest problem is Jas’s hang ups on Hawk’s past discretion and her past hurts.
I really enjoyed their story and I saw where it was headed but going along for the ride was still a lot of fun. If I had one small criticism, it’s that there was a big build up to the drama that could cause them trouble and hurt and then it was just over. I understand their was no cause for a big violent scene but I kind of wanted more out of the resolution.
All being said a great addition. I really hope Harlem and Indigo bring the drama and suspense. . . . Hawk has wanted Jas from moment one and his one moment in a drunken haze sent her running. In truth he never wanted what happened to happen but at the same time he and Jas weren’t even a thing. He was working on it but after that moment she shut him out and built up her walls ten feet tall and bullet proof.
Jas is hoping for Hawk to finally get the hint and leave her alone. He had his shot, and he blew it big time. Hanging out with Manny and her girls at a strip show is just what she needs to let her hair down. A few too many drinks and some dancing has her feeling all sorts of good until Hawk shows up.
Jas decides she’s going to make use of Hawk and finally get what she wants. He can have her but it’s only sex. No feelings, no caring and no softness. Hawk agrees to her crazy rules, but his plan is to show her that her feelings are still there and he’s not backing away from what he wants. ‘She might be able to decide when she has feelings and when she doesn’t, but that won’t last. I’ll make sure of it.’
No matter how much Jas tries to keep Hawk at arm's length he’s there at every turn. He drivers her crazy and pushes her to her limits over and over again, but when her whole world gets rocked, he’s right by her side and she can’t deny that everything she always wanted is right there in the package that is Hawk. “I wet my lips, ready to… I don’t know… do something. Strangle him, most likely. I’m just not sure if it would be with my thighs around his head. I hate that he does this to me.
While Jas suffers through her pain and her new reality Hawk falls more in love with her and all he can see it their future together. He’s going to get her to her happy ending no matter what stands in their way. “Like I’m ever gonna let you go now I’ve found you. Not happenin’.”
I absolutely devoured the third book in this series, Hawk.
We’ve encountered Hawk and Jas in the earlier books, and that’s led me to form an opinion of who the characters were. I was fully expecting Hawk to be a lady’s man, a grump, domineering, and hardheaded, and while some of that is true, I also loved the many different layers that we got to see in his character in this book. One of the characters described him as gooey at one point, and I have to agree. Seeing how he is with Jas, he is gooey; he gives off some seriously soft and squishy cinnamon roll vibes while still managing to be extremely gruff and manly. Jas has always come across as rather prim and proper, earning herself the nickname ‘ice queen’ within the MC. For the most part, she is cold and distant, but again, like Hawk’s character, we soon learn that there is a lot more to her than meets the eye. Her aloofness is a self-preservation mechanism to protect her from getting hurt, but she takes it too far and ends up hurting herself in the long run. Once both characters start to let their vulnerabilities show and their relationship begins to grow, it’s passionate and fiery, and they are a perfect pairing.
The author did a great job of showcasing each character’s thoughts and feelings. The different POVs allowed us to see what effect things that were said had on each other, with them showing a range of emotions from anger, hurt, jealousy, passion, and love. They were really well-developed characters, and I enjoyed watching the push and pull of their relationship as they tried to find their place together. As it’s their story, the main focus is on them, but as with Mackenzy’s other books, we get glimpses of other characters in the series too, not just in their interactions with the main characters but with others such as Tag and Luna, or Harlem and Indigo. It gives us little snippets to prepare us for future books and has me looking forward to reading even more in the series.
While the NOLA MC is no doubt an MC club and we are reminded of their behaviours and roles throughout, I enjoy the fact that, as they are not a 1% club, we get to see more wholesome actions in general compared to the more criminal roles some clubs follow. With them discussing their involvement with DV charities, offering support to an animal shelter, and similar, it just reiterates that these are a group of protectors and people who care. Yes, they can be violent, and yes, they can be scary, but when it comes to people or animals who matter, they will stand up for those who need them, even if they aren’t always ready to ask for or accept that help.
I couldn't put this book down . I found Hawk and Jas very intriguing.
Jas is so fiesty , stubborn, smart , beautiful and kind . She put walls up around her self because her ex boyfriend cheated on her and broke her spirit she made promises to herself to never let anyone get close to her again.
She never let anyone walk all over her and she became known as the ice queen amongst some of the brothers in the MC she works for . She made it known from the start she was no man's toy she was there to do her job and that was that .
Deep down she wanted some one to choose her . To love her . And to be someone's happily ever after.
She didn't think it would ever eventuate but a girl could dream . No one was ever going to hurt her again.
Hawk had a thing for Jas , she was smart and didn't play games or act dumb unlike some of his previous conquests.
He was attracted to her from the day he met her , all of that sass wrapped up in a tiny package her long blonde hair and full lips and he had dreams of her assettes wrapped around every part of him just like a spider monkey .
Things were going good between him and Jas she was starting to let her walls down she thought maybe this connection towards Hawk was leading to something big even though they weren't dating and didn't owe one another a thing no commitments were made Jas thought Hawk could be the one to break down her walls . Unfortunately one drunkin knight Hawk not only broke Jas but did it in a way there was no coming back from .
I love the characters in this series they are so heartfelt, raw, loveable and when they fall for their "One" they fall hard .
Hawk has a lot of work cut out for him where Jas is concerned and she puts him through his paces and doesn't give a hoot about it .
When a devastating event knocks Jas world off it's axis can she rely on Hawk to help her through? Can she let go of the past and let him in to help her ?
But what happens when this recent event sets a course in motion that will not only rock Jas world but totally blind side Hawk and brings both their worlds crashing down around them . ?
The world moves in mysterious ways and Jas and Hawks lives are more intertwined then they both think.
I loved this book and look forward to the next instalment.

Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
"Hawk" by Mackenzy Fox is a gritty and intense romance novel that delves into the passionate, complex, and often dangerous world of a motorcycle club. The story revolves around the lives of two strong-willed characters, Hawk and Jas, and the turbulent relationship that unfolds between them.
Hawk is portrayed as the quintessential protector, not only for his motorcycle club but also for those he cares about. He's a larger-than-life figure, dedicated to his MC brothers and willing to go to any length to keep them and his club safe. When he encounters Jas, a strong and independent woman who challenges him at every turn, the stage is set for a power struggle that transcends their initial animosity.
Jas is a character who refuses to be dominated, especially by a biker like Hawk. She is fierce and unyielding, and her clashes with Hawk create a dynamic tension that adds a layer of excitement to the story. The novel explores the complexities of their relationship as it evolves from hostility to something much deeper and more profound.
The book masterfully weaves themes of love, loyalty, and resilience with a motorcycle club and the challenges they face. It also delves into the impact of personal tragedy on these characters and how it influences their relationship.
The author's writing style immerses readers in the world of the NOLA Rebels motorcycle club, painting a vivid picture of the club's dynamics and the harsh, dangerous environment in which the characters live. The dialogue and interactions between Hawk and Jas are rife with tension and chemistry, creating a palpable connection between them.
One notable aspect of "Hawk" is the character development. Both Hawk and Jas undergo significant growth throughout the story. They learn to trust, to overcome their differences, and to come to terms with their vulnerabilities. The emotional journey they undertake adds authenticity to their characters and makes their love story all the more compelling.
I think I have been most excited for these two characters story more than the rest. The way they bickered at each other & got on each others nerves was hilarious, but also built up that sexual tension between the two of them. Jasmyne handles all the accounting when it comes to the MC, she is damn good at her job & that’s one reason Cash warns Hawk to not hurt her because she has became like a sister to him. Hawk is the road captain of the MC, from the past books you would probably think he is a grump whom has high sex drive but that’s until he starts falling for gorgeous Jas. Before he can even get a proper taste of her though he screws it up by one drunken night where he wakes up with Star one of the sweet butts in his bed. Now after some much needed groveling & begging from Hawkie he finds himself in good graces of Jas, but we all know the “just sex” thing won’t work between them especially with the connection that share. I mean the sex between these two was off the charts, Hawk could & would give it to her anyway she desired. The man could multiple rounds with barely having a break in between. When Jas has an unexpected lost in her family, Hawk makes it his mission to be by her side through the whole thing & sure enough they fall even harder for each other because this man dropped everything to be by her side during the most painful time. I also knew a bomb was going to be dropped soon especially after Hawk thought Lyndall looked familiar in pictures, now I wasn’t expecting Jas to be so okay with it but I also knew she wanted Ella to be able to stay with them & this was a grantee way. My heart way happy that Ella got to stay as well as get to know her father & that Jas got her happy ever after especially after that jackass Jeremy broke her down with his cheating ways. Already thinking of how Harlem is going to “enforce” Miss Indigo!
A shocking turn of events that shines a light on if he wanted to he would and he’ll show you how much he wants you every change he gets.

My ARC Review (4.8/5 ⭐️, 2.8/5 🌶️)
Three months ago, Jas and Hawk were dating getting to know each other and in talks to take it to the next level. One night Hawk has a little too much to drink and smokes a little something and is caught red handed with another woman trying take care of him by Jas. This leads Jas to cut off her budding relationship with Hawk. But this doesn’t stop Hawk from trying to get her back no matter what. Fast forward to present day and Hawk’s stubbornness to keep trying is kinda wearing her down. After a drunk filled night a steamy, hate filled pact at enemies with benefits is made. But this pact sets out to be a lot more difficult once feelings are involved for both Hawk and Jas. Just as Jas is wanting to pump the breaks with their arrangement, an unexpected tragedy occurs leaving Jas devastated and Hawk is there for her in ways she never expected. Will Jas be able to forgive Hawk and give in to her feelings once in for all? Or will this tragedy set them apart even further and end them before they really begin? There are a lot of twists that you don’t see coming and it ends up being absolutely heartbreakingly beautiful to witness Hawk’s growth as well as Jas’s ability to let go of her trust issues. Such a beautiful story and I can’t wait for the next one!
Thank you the The Author Agency and Mackenzy Fox for allowing me the opportunity to be an ARC reader for this release as well as this series, I am loving it!
We first meet Hawk and Jas in the first book of the series Cash. We learned that they were getting close until he really made a blunder. Jas was hurt and angry because she thought they were getting close. They weren’t official but had been messing around. Once Hawk realized what he’d done he knew that he had ruined his chances with Jas.
So we get bits of them in Cash and Jett’s books, they’re always bickering and Hawk is in major grovel mode. But Jas is not budging, her walls are back up and she is not giving him an inch. After months of flirting and grovel by Hawk, Jas has reached the end of her rope. After a much needed girls night out of drinking and having fun Hawk has to take a drunk Jas home.
A drunk Jas is an honest one and she wants him but only for sex. Hawk turns her down until she’s sober enough to make a choice. They start a friends with benefits relationship but Hawk is all in. He knows he will break down her walls. I loved seeing these two banter and at times it was brutal but Jas had her reasons to lash out.
After a tragedy Jas is now the guardian of her cousins daughter. Hawk really stepped up for Jas at this time. Showing her that he cared for her a lot more then she realized. Hawk persevered and in the end he got his girl plus a family he’s always wanted.
I loved the twists that Mackenzy brought in this book. Yes it’s a one in million thing but it’s fiction and brought closure to Jas and Hawk’s story.
I can’t wait to read about Harlem and Indigo in the next book! I loved Bracken Ridge Rebels MC series and I’m loving the NOLA Rebels MC just as much.
Oh Hawk I wasn’t expecting to love this brute so much. 😍 He is 6.5ft tall, pure wall of muscles and tattoos, grumpy, broody, mean, quiet to a fault and gorgeous with the most beautiful blue eyes. He immediately had his eyes on Jas since she started working at the Club, he was making progress with her and had 1 night of hot hot make out with her (not sex) but they got interrupted and after that he got caught up in a club party, got blackout drunk and has no idea what happened just that he was caught with one of the club sweet butts literally with her mouth down his pants…… needless to say that now Jas the Ice Queen as she is known, wants N O T H I N G G G G to do with him and is giving him HELL ! In one hand yes he fucked up and I think Jas is right cause she should make him grovel, on the other hand he truly TRULY was always obsessed with Jas and he has no ideia what happened and how and he regrets every second of and he is READY to grovel, beg and work to have her back, and HE DOES ! And we love to see how she made this feared badass biker go on his knees for her 😍❤️ The other side of Hawk which is what made me love this book more than the other 2 , is that he is very family oriented, he is a great son, brother and uncle, he is great with kids, he is great with dogs, he helps with BADV (Bikers Against Domestic Violence) and with a dog shelter and he always wanted a family, he even has a house in the family area of town ready for whenever he has a family. This book takes an unexpected turn and it has Grumpy x Grumpy trope, Enemies to Lovers, Unexpected Parenthood, Second Chance romance and Boy obsessed and very angst . It is actually GREAT ! It’s also as the other 2 VERY VERY SPICY and Hawk is sexyyyyyyyyyyyyy as hell and knows it 😉😍🥵🔥🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Overall I liked this one a little more than the other 2 even though I LOVED the first 2 😂. Let’s not forget what a ROCK in Jas’s life Hawk has become, he is THERE FOR HER IN EVERY SINGLE ASPECT, MOMENT and DIFFICULTY. He is THERE and he does it all, you really don’t expect how perfect he is but there we are …. LOVED LOVED LOVED

OMG! @mackenzyfoxbooks what have you done to me??? This book is officially my favorite of the 3 already available Nola Rebels Mc series bks🥰
I thought I loved Jett; but Hawk i love him even more. Ao selfless generous, posessive, protective and so humble. Also the fact that he discovered that he’d been a father without knowing it and easily steps up to the responsibilities makes him even more lovable.
Jas on the other hand OMG! So indipendent, powerful and incredibly beautiful. I love that in this seeies even without the men the women are still amazing. They shine in their capabilities and then when put together with the men they become even better and stronger.
Y’all this series has my heart and especially this book. Also to be honest am kinda eager for January to get here so i can read the next book. Somehow this series gets better from one book to the next!
Harlem’s book he’s single dad MC club Enforcer ….its a romance book with an 18 year age-gap, praise and daddy kink, a tough spit-fire heroine, single mom, H is very protective with lots of steam.
3 of my favorite things in one book ✅Agegap (18 yrs) ✅Single dad ✅single mom
Coming January 4th Yeeeey! @mackenzyfoxbooks has a special place in my heart and everytime i see something from her i get so excited. Y’all if you still haven’t read this series it’s available now …and you’re going to love it!
My favourite one so far in the series, but to be honest all of them are good in this series. This one was Hawk and Jasmyn's story. Finally as I really wanted to know what Hawk did for Jas to despise him so much. She used it as an excuse too, to protect her heart. Jas is a spitfire and has a strong backbone. All the pushing back she does despite her hearts desire is more to do with her heartbroken experience by her ex than Hawk. But that guy is relentless. I absolutely fell in love with Hawk. The way he is with her too. For a big burly guy he is so kind, caring, gentle and loving (only to her). Also reason it's my favourite is he is a B@@b guy,and that was enough to get me really 'ahem' 👀. Their is loss and grieving. I really felt their pain. Mackenzy wrote these scenes so well, I felt my heart strings being pulled. The witty back to forth banter was funny at times. The MC'S are hilarious when they get together for meetings. Great story plot, drama, excellent and relatable characters, found family, heartache, loss, grief, healing, love and so much hot flaming spice. I can't wait for Harlems story.
Favourite Quotes :
"Instead of cutting my losses and moving on, I decide I’m going to make her my new obsession."
"And if anyone talks to her, or so help me, if they touch her, I’ll kill them with my bare hands."
It should come as no surprise that I really enjoyed Hawk. I could not put it down, and was fully immersed in the story. That has been the case with Cash and Jett as well. There is just something about the storylines, the characters, and the setting that draws me in. The bit of suspense also helps. Then there's that steam factor, and oofta it gets hot. (I'm not complaining either.)
When it comes to Hawk, the book not the character, I really only have one complaint. It's also why I rated this book 4 stars instead of 5. So what is my complaint? The fact that one of the storylines was left open. There was no on page resolution. I mean yes there was that one revelation that kind of closed it, but not really. You see there was a third party involved, who was Jas's cousin. What happened to him? It's like once that revelation was made, he just disappeared. HOW DID THAT HE REACT TO THE NEWS? Did that just eliminate everything that was happening? Mackenzy I have questions! Yes there was a happy ending for our couple. Yes they are in love. Yes they have created a little family. Yes the club was by Jasmyne's side when she needed them the most. BUT WHAT ABOUT HER COUSIN?!? WHAT WAS THE MOTIVATION? WHY WAS HE FIGHTING IT? UGH!!!
I've read several books in this series and rated them 3* except for Cash which was a delicious 5* read for me. If you read my reviews, you know it's rare for me to rate this genre anywhere near 5* so Cash was really good. This one, however, was the most disappointing of all. I also can't imagine reading Harlem & Indigo's story, cause she sounds like she's even more bitter & angry than the FL in this story...no thanks!
I skipped so many pages it was akin to DNF. I just couldn't get past the absolute ridiculousness of the FL Jas. I HATED HER! She was an angry, belligerent, bitter woman who couldn't get past the ML messing up when they first began dating - (they hadn't done more than kiss). She held that against Hawk, even after big grovelling, to the point where he should have walked away from her angry self. Because an ex of hers cheated on her 2 years prior, all men were no good!! It became stupidly tiring and there was no romance on the FL's side. Just a Bitter Betty that I wanted to bitchslap throughout the book. And the killing off of a character so Jas could be this sympathetic person, really didn't work. Worst of all was the inane resolution of that situation with Hawk getting a big (and eye-rolling) surprise. UGH
Hawk is the third book is Mackenzy Fox’s Nola MC series and it did not disappoint! The author has been teasing us with Hawk and Jas’s story and I am so happy it’s finally here. Things to look for in this book:
MC romance ✔️ Enemies to lovers ✔️ Fiery FMC ✔️ Broody biker MMC ✔️ Surprise parenthood ✔️
Once upon a time there was hope for Hawk and Jas, until Hawk messed that all up by hooking up with one of the sweet butts while he was intoxicated. And ultimately hurt his chance with Jas in the process.
Now he’s trying his hardest to knock down the wall she has erected and get another chance with her. While doing so, tragedy hits for one of them and ultimately it pulls them closer together. But will they be able to weather the storm or will past hurts invade any future that they may have?
These two really fought for their HEA and I loved that. Jas wasn’t giving up easy, but when she does, you truly know how much Hawk cares about her. The surprise parenthood element really brought a depth to the book that was surprising in the best way!

I have been waiting for Hawk since the first book and the wait was definitely worth it!
Hawk went through everything to win Jas back. She didnt make it easy for him at all and that added to they’re hot dynamic. They were the ultimate push/pull in a relationship.
Jas is so strong, stubborn, feisty, smart, gorgeous, everything you need to be in the MC world. She doesn’t let anyone walk over her especially Hawk.
These two, the chemistry between them is so hot 🔥 also the character development that they both went through was so significant and amazing.
That curveball at the end was unexpected but my god if it didn’t make me love Hawk even more! Jas and Hawk truly deserved everything they got 💚

Hawk is the 3rd book in the Nola Rebels MC series by Mackenzy Fox. This is Hawk’s and Jas’s story. Hawk is obviously in the MC and Jas is the MC’s financial advisor. They have always had an attraction to each other and they kinda had a thing going until Hawk got drunk and messed it all up. It has been months later and Hawk has been trying to win Jas over again. Can he make up for lost time or has that ship sailed?
I LOVED the first two books in this series (and everything else I have read of Mackenzy’s!) so it’s no surprise I absolutely LOVED Hawk!! His story might actually be my favorite so far. 😳 And that’s saying a lot because it’s hard to top Daddy Cash. 😉 Hawk’s and Jas’s story was just so sweet I didn’t want it to end! It had some plots twist I definitely didn’t see coming and kept me invested though out the whole thing! These Rebels just keep getting better and filthier! I can’t get enough! If you haven’t read Hawk or any of the others I highly suggest you do!!!
DAMN!!! This was one hell of a spicy story from start to finish and I could not get enough of it!!!
Hawk really doesn’t give up when he wants something as desperately as he wants Jas. And the fact that he is willing to beg forgiveness on his hands and knees – DAMN.
It’s also no wonder that Jas’ body is aching so fiercely for Hawk as that man knows just how to dish out some filthy dirty talk. He had my body aching for relief too!!!
The desire, craving and lust that Jas and Hawk give off when around each other just oozed off the pages. It was very hard for Jas to deny it, but you could feel how much she really wanted Hawk in everyway! Their chemistry was incredible and so freaking hot that I thought for sure my kindle was going to melt.
The tragedy that brings Jas to her knees was actually the turning point that Hawk and Jas needed in order to open up further to each other and move their relationship in the right direction. And then the unexpected twists and turns that the story takes towards the end – WOW – I couldn’t love these two more.
Just when I thought the men of the Nola Rebels couldn’t get any hotter 🥵🥵 in comes Hawk.
THIS MAN. this MAN. dominant but focuses on consent. Truly cares about Jas and his FAMILY ✨ yes please. She’s goes through the worst moment of her life and he never leaves. AND THE PLOT TWIST?! My lord this man just gets better and better.
I will say…her reluctance in the beginning was throwing me off. Like yes, getting cheated on by a POS man sucks I am NOT downplaying that but damn this man groveled for her ON. HIS. KNEES. and she still gave him a hard time?! And she didn’t even explain why like UGH. that was frustrating but she redeems herself by taking on a role she was never prepared for. Ella is a she is so lucky to have Jas and Hawk.
The spice 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 and it’s like right away. No slow burn and it DOES NOT disappoint. 🥵🥵 Throw me a few good girls here and there and I’m like a rabid dog 🤣 the amount of times Jas ✨finishes✨ just seems a bit unrealistic but who cares when the book is so good.
As the 3rd book in the NOLA Rebels MC series, I wasn't disappointed. I'm glad we get to see Jas and Hawk's story. Typical enemies to lovers, I was sucked in immediately. I found myself relating to Jas on a personal level. Strong, independent, and traumatized from a past relationship, never feeling good enough on the inside while painting a happy face on the outside.
"That’s the thing with love; you’re never really in control of it. It controls you."
I admit, I struggled with liking Hawk in the beginning, he's an obsessive and jealous man, but that stems from my own independence, and just like Jas, I fell for him slowly. This book has a twist in it some may not see, but I was very happy with how it turned out.
Lots of delicious spice that will make you sweat, hoping for a MC member of your own. I can't wait to read Harlem, the next book in the series, set to release January 4th!
