Joy Holiday, Activities Director of Holiday Corner, invites renowned chef Ava Merryweather to create a spectacular feast for the town's annual Santa's Workshop Dinner, a beloved charity event. However, the excitement turns to shock when Ava is discovered dead in the snow, a plum pudding by her side.

As rumors of Ava's checkered past start circulating, suspicion falls on Joya Frost, part-time chef for the Silver Bells Café and owner of Sugar Plum Catering.

*Could Joya's connection to the catering world be linked to Ava's demise?

I really liked Joya’s character and think she makes a really nice addition to the town. I just love Frank’s character for being such a fair and honest sheriff. It’s always fun when the good guys set a trap for the bad guys, lol. I can’t wait to return next time and see how the new catering business was doing.

I like Sharon Michael’s books, this was no exception. This was a fun, fast holiday season read. Christmas in Holiday Corner is exciting, festive and usually includes a murder.
Joya is a nice addition to the Holiday family and nice to see they welcomed her in. Too bad her baggage followed her. The plot thickened when the celebrity chef came to town with her family and staff. Lots of good suspects to choose from. It’s a good thing the Sheriff has it all under control.
You won’t be disappointed when you read this book, it’s another good one!

Poisoned Pudding

Installment #6 in a delightful Holiday Corner shared series. In this story Joy Holiday arranges for a celebrity chef to make the dinner for a charity dinner to benefit the town. The chef is murdered and found to have been posioned. Joy and her newly.found cousin. Investigate much to the annoyance of the law enforcement. Several suspects. The ending is charming.

Good story

The world of culinary arts can be competitive and sometimes deadly. Very cutthroat, even between relatives. Holiday Corner is caught up in family jealousy when a daughter is jealous of a chef that her celebrity chef mother sings the praises of. Stolen recipes and jealousy leads to murder.

I loved this new story that takes place in Holiday Corners. This is a quaint town where they celebrate Christmas 365 days a year. What happens when Chef Merryweather is found dead at the inn? Who would want her dead. You will wonder until the end as to who is the guilty party.
